Lockspring Lore ad Origin
High Firepower Combat Bangboo
Lockspring is one of the earliest Bangboo models ever created, dating back even to the time the Void Hunter Lady Sunbringer first invented Bangboo. However, these models dubbed as High Firepower Combat Bangboo are extremely faulty and often scrapped.
Lockspring's original specialization, as suggested by its model name, is combat and the elimination of threats in the Hollow.
Nowadays, his damaged memory core, and years of wear and tear have rendered it unusable in battle, and it has been blindly roaming the Hollow ever since.
Possessed by Youkai
According to ZZZ's Lore Teaser video, Where the Miracles Began, there are four known super-AI scattered about in New Eridu: Fairy, Jinni, Ghost, and Youkai.
Each AI seems to specialize in a certain field. Youkai's specialty is corrupting data firewalls and security, and possessed Lockspring at one point before the Bangboo passed away.

Consecutive Dodges and Parries
The Lockspring Boss will have many moments where proxies need to switch fast between dodges and defensive assists. Keep in mind that at certain points, a successful defensive assist will not trigger an Assist Follow-Up.
Similar Attacks to Mecha Bangboo
A lot of Lockspring’s attacks are similar to the Mecha Bangboo attacks, which players get to try out during events. These include Rocket Launches, Slams, and Sweeps. In particular, watch out for the laser attack as players who are too close to Lockspring will take continuous damage.
Use Ye Shunguang's Ult
The boss fight is quite straightforward, so deal as much damage as you can with Ye Shunguang's basic attacks and ultimate.
