These are the current Task Force Agents in Task Force Investigation. They are featured characters that gain substantial buffs when used to explore the Lost Void, either together in one team or in separate ones.

It would be wise to prioritize them when formulating your parties, which should be easy enough as they will be available for trial during the period in which they are featured.

Task Force Agents rotate every week, but only between Agents who have Potential Catalysts and have their own Lost Void Gear. This list may expand if other Agents get their own Lost Void gear.

Ether Activities

Lv. Effect
1 You must complete the battle in the Boss room within 3m 30s. Exceeding this time limit will result in failure.
2 All enemies gain significantly increased Anomaly Buildup RES and gain further increased Anomaly Buildup RES when Stunned.
3 All Bosses start with Miasmic Shield, and the shield's limit is increased.
4 The store is no longer available in Friendly Talk, and all stores can only be refreshed once.
5 Mist Areas appear. Whenever entering a Mist Area, Agent's DMG dealt and DMG taken slightly increase.
6 Bosses in [Combat: Crisis on the Road] will be enhanced.
7 All enemies gain a substantial Shield. When Shielded, their Anti-Interrupt Level increases.
8 In [Combat: Crisis on the Road] and [Combat: Final Battle], on-field characters will gradually lose HP.
9 There is a chance for the Store to change into HP Store, and Agent attacks restore a small amount of HP.
10 Agent's DMG dealt increases, but Max HP reduces.
11 Increases Miasma Contamination from Miasma Corruption Attacks, and the DMG taken from triggering Miasma Corruption increases.
12 Golden and red prompts will no longer be displayed for enemies, but Defensive Assist, Evasive Assist, and Dodge Counter are enhanced.
13 Friendly Talk no longer provides Health Recovery.
14 Elite and Boss enemies enter the Demonized state, only exiting this state when Stunned.
15 Keeps accumulating Miasma Contamination upon entering combat, and Perfect Dodge, Defensive Assist, and Evasive Assist reduce some Miasma.

Selecting Ether Activities will make for a much challenging time in Task Force Investigation, but will yield greater rewards. Put your Agents to the test and see if you can handle as many Ether Activities as you can!

You can select multiple activities and tailor the challenge to your preferences!

Considering how much Miasma enemies you're about to encounter, bringing along characters that excel in dispelling it and breaking Miasmic shields is the way to go.

Yunkui Summit members specialize in this so bring along Yixuan to take the frontlines, and either Pan Yinhu, Astra, Ju Fufu or Lucia for support.

You can swap out Pan Yinhu with Pulchra if you're looking for a Stun unit that doesn't require much field time.
Pan Yinhu Pan Yinhu Support Replacement
Swap out Astra for Pan Yinhu as an A-Rank alterntative that buffs Sheer Force and provides healing.
Caesar Caesar Support Replacement
Swap out Astra for Caesar for shields to negate incoming DMG as well as to amplify attacks through her Core Passive.

Though a lot of the Miasma enemies you're about to encounter are resistant to Ice, Miyabi is more than capable of brute-forcing her way through hordes of them, especially when amplified by Astra and Yanagi's skills.

This will also hit two birds with one stone as you will be using two Task Force characters, which will lead to a more powerful team.

You can swap out Yanagi or Miyabi with Vivian for additional Anomaly support and Disorder DMG.
Burnice Burnice Anomaly Replacement
Swap out Yanagi or Miyabi with Burnice to easily set up Disorder anomalies and stack up on DMG via overtime Burn DMG!
Jane Jane Anomaly Replacement
Jane is also a character with a Potential Catalyst, which means that you can acquire rewards if you use her in battle. She also works well with one of Miyabi's Program upgrades!

Another great Anomaly team setup is one built around Alice. Vivian will be on the squad to help trigger Disorder while Yuzuha can provide buffs that will enhance the entire squad.

With both Alice and Yuzuha in your team, more gear will become available to you, leading to a stronger team!

You can swap out Alice for Jane to as an alternative Physical Anomaly DPS.

You can swap out Vivian for Grace to go for a Shock team.

A more accessible Physical Anomaly DPS that can be swapped in for Alice.

How to Beat Task Force Investigation

Select Your Tactical Prism Program

Select your Tactical Prism Program

As you enter the Lost Void, you will find Ray and Ophelia to the right, and a researcher to the left. Speak to Ray to select a Tactical Prism Program, which is gear specific only to characters in your team that have Potential Catalysts.

Upon viewing your selected gear, you will see that when certain conditions are met, it can upgrade to provide its respective character additional buffs and optimizations. Be sure to view each gear thoroughly and select the one that suits your play style the most!

One Program Per Character

One Program per Agent

When selecting a Tactical Prism Program, do be very thorough. Once a program is selected, you will only get Tactical Prism Programs for the other Agents in your team moving forward.

Speak to the Researcher

Select your Tactical Prism Program Upgrade Condition

After getting your gear from Ray and Ophelia, speak to the researcher to the left of the stairs. He will give the conditions to upgrade your selected Tactical Prism Program.

It could either be passing 5 areas while not getting flung, or passing 8 areas without spending Gear coins, or even just merely passing a Price Difference area. Select one that is most doable for you to upgrade your gear easily!

Plot Your Course

Plot Your Course

Open up your map and determine which areas you'd want to pass. If you want more Resonia, you can select the Combat - Resonia areas.

Keeping in mind the conditions for your Tactical Prism Program upgrade, plot your course in accordance to the condition you selected. If it requires you to pass a specific area, choose a route that enables you to do so.

Fight Bosses

At the end of each route is a Combat - Crisis on the Road, which will pit you against a random boss. The final boss is the Miasmic Priest.

Be sure to prepare beforehand, especially in Friendly Talk areas where you can rest and recuperate!
