Blessing or Curse is a Phase 2 Port Anecdotes quest that can only be unlocked after completing the Truth Beneath the Water Event Main Story!

Blessing or Curse is one of the Port Anecdotes in the Elpis Ultimate Angler Championship event. In this quest, Nekomata and the Cunning Hares will request your aid in their financial crisis through fishing!

Blessing or Curse Quest Walkthrough

Speak to Nekomata
Speak to Nekomata at the docks right by the Bridge Fishing Spot and learn of the financial crisis the Cunning Hares are facing. She's been tasked to fish for their food as their daily necessities have been all but expended.
She'll then ask for your help in catching a fish with the singular bait she got from a coupon Nicole gave her.
Catch One Fish
Agree to help Nekomata and catch one fish. Though simple enough, this is going to be a big one. It's recommended that you increase your Fishing License LVL to deal more DMG to a fish's stamina.
Once caught, you will realize that the ''fish'' you caught is actually a Sharkboo named Bling. It will thank you for fishing it out of the water and ask to meet at the monument at Lumina Square to thank you properly.
Meet with Bling at Lumina Square
Got to Lumina Square and head to the monument in front of the Lumina Galleria. The Cunning Hares will be there to receive their reward from Bling and will be treated to a fancy dinner, which Nekomata will find suspicious.
Meet with Nekomata at Random Play
Nekomata will ask to meet with you at the parking lot of Random Play and discuss her suspicions about Bling. A new Hollow commission will become available for you to undertake.
Find Bling
The Hollow exploration of this commission is pretty linear. Just eliminate wave after wave of enemies and proceed to the next area. Do so until you reach Bling, being interrogated by gang members, which you should eliminate.
Speak to the Cunning Hares and leave the Hollow. You will be transported back to Port Elpis instantly to have one last conversation with Bling and the Cunning Hares, and this should complete the quest!
