The Cutting Through Wrong Paths Quest is located on the Lower Floor of Melinoe.

| 1 |  Upon starting the commission, talk to Izumi to receive intel for the next phase of the operation. Afterward, follow the quest marker and head to the elevator. |
| 2 | After talking to Anne, guide the Ether Beam Disruptor's laser to the receiver ahead to open the path forward. |
| 3 |  After defeating the enemies, ride the elevator up to the platform to proceed. Talk to the HSO member after arriving. |
| 4 |  After hearing the member's report, explore the surrounding area and defeat the Ethereals that spawn. |
| 5 |  Once the area is clear, guide the second Ether Beam Disruptor laser to its receivers to progress forward. |
| 6 |  Rescue researchers trapped behind barrels and other obstacles and talk to them. |
| 7 |  Redirect the Ether Beam Disruptor to the newly revealed receiver to open the way downwards. |
| 8 |  Continue to open the path below by guiding the third Ether Beam Disruptor to its receiver. |
| 9 |  Collect the Irradiant Crystal and deliver it back to the researcher after defeating an Ionized Farbauti. |

| 1 |  After delivering the Irradiant Crystal, head to the path behind you and defeat the enemies to proceed. |
| 2 |  Upon defeating the Ethereals, interact with the Bangboo workbench to get the required Carrot data. |
| 3 |  As Eous, follow the trail of Dennies to make your way through the Marcel maze. |
| 4 | Hold the Jump button at the peak of Eous's jump to make it through the jump pad obstacles. |

| 1 |  After collecting the maze crystal, interact with the Ether Topology Disruptor to reveal the way forward. |
| 2 |  Continue forward and defeat the enemies to connect the fourth Ether Beam Disruptor to its receivers. |
| 3 |  Once the elevator is operational, ride it to access Melinoe's Upper Floor. |

| 1 |  After alighting the elevator, connect the final Ether Beam Disruptor to its receivers after defeating the first wave of enemies. |
| 2 |  Once the path is open, defeat the second wave of Ethereals to continue upwards. |
| 3 |  After arriving at the Unstable Spatial Fissure's location, interact with it and defeat Thracian to reveal the Irradiant Crystal Core. |
| 4 |  Upon collecting the Irradiant Crystal Core, talk to Anne to review the operation results with her. |
