Rely on Perfect Coordinations
The Champion's Technique for Wasteland Search focuses on successfully timing Perfect Coordinations. Like with Perfect Assists, keep an eye out for gold flashes and switch Burnice in to slow the enemies and increase Lighter's damage.

Maintain Frenzy as Much as You Can
Maintain Frenzy as much as possible to allow Lighter to inflict Execute, instantly defeating enemies with HP below 20%. Build up Frenzy's uptime by defeating smaller enemies first before targeting the much tougher targets like the Wanted Enforcer.
The Champion's Technique from Wasteland Search is still active, so watch out for opportunities to perform Perfect Coordination!

Activate Full Frenzy as Much as You Can
It is recommended that you activate Full Frenzy as often as you can. Full Frenzy increases Lighter's damage, CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, and Morale regeneration even further.
While Full Frenzy cannot be extended, it can always be re-activated as long as Lighter is in Frenzy.

Provoke Enemies to Buff Support
Hold the Dodge button to have Lighter provoke the enemies around him and buff his support character. While provoking enemies, Lighter will buff his allies with up to +90% CRIT DMG with a successful parry.
Notably, Lighter will automatically parry enemies that attack him while he is provoking them.

Rely on Perfect Dodges
The heat multipliers may seem dangerous, but Perfect Dodges nullify the possible numbers advantage and critical hits from the enemy.
Performing a Perfect Dodge will lower the cooldown for Coordinated Attacks and Perfect Coordinations, while increasing the support character's damage.

Perform Support Character's Ultimate
In addition to Execute, maintaining Frenzy allows Lighter to refund Energy and Decibels when casting his EX Special Attack and Ultimate.
Use the extra Energy and Decibels to prolong Frenzy and activate the support character's Ultimate whenever you can.

Rely on Coordinated Attacks
In addition to activating Full Frenzy, Lighter can repeatedly perform Coordinated Attacks with his support character to clear waves of enemies quickly.
It is recommended that both heat multipliers be activated to give Lighter more opportunities to perform his buffed coordinated attacks.

Continue Provoking Enemies
Like in The Fist and the Gun, provoking enemies is still the best way to go. Not only will Lighter's allies be buffed, but taking both heat multipliers will increase Lighter and his support character's damage even further!
Furthermore, parrying with a provoke instantly resets Lighter's coordinated attack button to 0!
