The Champion is a TV Schedule event that features Lighter, the champion of the Sons of Calydon. Get to know Lighter in his Agent Story and play as him in the Champion's themed combat stages.

Meet Lighter and Caesar in Blazewood
To unlock Wasteland Search, go to Blazewood and meet with Lighter and Caesar.
Head to the Hollow with Lighter and Burnice to investigate and defeat the Hollow gang members that attacked the Loudmouth Biker.
Talk to Lighter
After completing Wasteland Search, meet with Lighter and Caesar near Blazewood's highway to unlock and proceed with Dancing With the King.
At Caesar's behest to go with Lighter, finish the conversation with them and return to the Hollow to investigate the refinery.
Meet up With Lighter and Piper
After Dancing with the King, meet up with Lighter and Piper at Blazewood near the wooden elevator platform.
Investigate the Convoy Alliance route with Lighter, Piper, and Burnice in Fuel Time.
Meet up With Lighter
After completing Fuel Time, meet up with Lighter at Blazewood's Upper Level to unlock and proceed with The Fist & Gun.
Finish the conversation and coordinate with Lighter and Billy to investigate the old civilization artifact intel.
Talk to Lighter and Billy
Prepared for the final showdown, return to the Hollow with Lighter and Billy to unlock and complete High Noon.
Listen in to Billy's report to learn the truth about the artifact and to finish the quest series.

Lighter, Burnice, Caesar, Piper and Billy are the trial characters you can deploy in The Champion's combat stages.
Lighter is automatically deployed, but you can select one Agent to support him for each stage.

Wasteland Search
Perfect Coordination: Press Switch Character to summon your Support Character to unleash a Coordinated Attack. This will not interrupt your character's current action. Coordinated Attacks have an 8s cooldown. Activating a Coordinated Attack right before being attacked will triggers Perfect Coordination, enhancing the effect. Lighter's DMG greatly increases. Upon triggering Perfect Coordination, Vital View is also triggered. |

Dancing With the King
Frenzy: After defeating 5 normal enemies in a row, Lighter enters the Frenzy state, granting him a powerful buff for 10 seconds. While in Frenzy, defeating every 3 additional enemies extends the state by 5 seconds. Defeating a normal enemy's advanced form counts as defeating 2 normal enemies, and defeating an elite enemycounts as defeating 5 normal enemies. Lighter's DMG is significantly increased. While in the Frenzy state, Lighter can instantly kill enemies with HP below 20%. The themed mechanic of Perfect Coordination has been applied. |

Fuel Time
Full Frenzy: When Lighter defeats 5 normal enemies in a row within 8 seconds while in Frenzy, he enters the Full Frenzy state, granting him an even more powerful buff for 10s. However, the Full Frenzy state cannot be extended. Defeating a normal enemy's advanced form counts as defeating 2 normal enemies, and defeating an elite enemy counts as defeating 5 normal enemies. enemy's advanced form counts Lighter's DMG is significantly increased. While in the Frenzy state, Lighter's CRIT Rate increases by 30%, and CRIT DMG increases by 60%. The recovery speed of Morale is greatly enhanced. The Fist & The Gun
Provoke: Hold the Dodge button to Provoke. Lighter's DMG is significantly increased. When he provokes an enemy, all squad members' CRIT DMG is increased. While in the Provoke state, Lighter automatically counters enemy attacks when he is about to get hit and further increases all squad members' CRIT DMG. After successfully countering an enemy attack, press the Basic Attack to launch a follow-up attack. Lighter's DMG is significantly increased. When he Provokes the enemy, all squad members' CRIT DMG increases by 45% for 8 seconds. While in the Provoke state, Lighter automatically parries enemies' attacks when they're about to land, and further increases all squad members' CRIT DMG by 45% for 8 seconds. After parrying the enemy's attack, selecting Basic Attack can trigger a follow-up attack. The themed mechanics of Perfect Coordination, Frenzy, and Full Frenzy have been applied. |

• Enemies respawn faster. When triggering Perfect Coordination, the support character will use Chain Attack. • Enemy attacks have a chance to trigger a critical hit. When Lighter triggers Perfect Dodge, the cooldown for Coordinated Attack is reduced by 1s and support characters' DMG increases by 100% for 10s. |

Dancing With the King+
• Enemy DEF increases by 30%. While in the Frenzy state, Lighter recovers 20 Energy upon hitting an enemy with an EX Special Attack, and generates 1,000 Decibels when hitting an enemy with an Ultimate. • Enemy ATK increases by 30%. While in the Frenzy state, support characters use Chain Attack when Coordinated Attack is triggered, and they use Ultimate when Perfect Coordination is triggered. |

Fuel Time+
• Enemy Max HP increases by 30%. When Lighter launches his Finishing Move during the 5th hit of his Basic Attack, he can trigger Coordinated Attack once, ignoring the cooldown time. • The enemy's Daze limit increases by 20%. When Lighter activates Chain Attack, he can trigger a Coordinated Attack once, ignoring the cooldown time. |

The Fist and The Gun+
• When Provoke is activated, the enemy's ATK increases by 50%, for 8 seconds. When Lighter successfully parries an enemy attack, the current cooldown time for Coordinated Attack is reduced to 0 seconds. • When Provoke is activated, the maximum number of enemies is spawned and all squad members' ATK increases by 30%. Daze increases by 25%, lasting for 10 seconds. Killing the additionally spawned enemies grants extra points. |
