Tier:  ・A unique velocity skill that activates in the 1st-5th positions (CM) with the added condition of activating only when about to be overtaken. |

Tier:  ・A strong velocity and acceleration skill that has similar activation conditions to the default Mayano Top Gun's 1st Place Kiss☆; 3rd-6th place (CM) but has to deal with a side block condition and being restricted to activate within the final corner only. |
 Fall Frenzy
|
Tier: ・Gold passive skill that boosts both your Speed and Power stats. Good for fall season races like the Kikuka Sho, Japan Cup, etc. ・Otherwise, there will be other much more accessible and consistent green skills like Right/Left-handed or Firm/Wet Conditions. |
 Battle Formation
|
Tier: ・Gold version of Opening Gambit. ・Activates in the early-race and debuffs opponents' acceleration. Similar to Keen Eye without the recovery and debuff split. ・Held back by being delayed and having a random point of activation. ・Not all-around useful; has niche use cases when proc'd by the future Summer Gold Ship's unique which allows it to ignore skill conditions. |

| Chasing After You | Tier:  ・Activates past the second half of the race, in the mid-pack, specifically in the 4th-6th places in a 9-gate race (CM). Can be consistent for Late Surgers, and can work for End Closers if they can reach the mentioned places in the mid-race. ・Split velocity increase and opponent velocity debuff skill. Great on Manhattan Cafe herself, but not a recommended inheritance skill for other trainees. ・Long effect duration and can be effective in the mid to late-race. |
 Stamina Siphon | Tier: ・Split stamina recovery and stamina drain debuff skill. Not as strong as a blue gold recovery, but better than other common recovery skills. ・Recommended to pair this with another gold blue recovery like Swinging Maestro in Long races, and have at least 1000 Stamina. ・Stamina debuff can be useful, but not as strong as All-Seeing Eyes. ・Only activates in a Long race. Easily activated in the End Closer position. ・Limited sources, only being provided by Manhattan Cafe herself and her future Stamina SSR support. |
 Come What May | Tier: ・Stronger version of All I've Got. Obtainable from Nakayama Fest SSR Stamina. ・Only activates on Medium races. Activates when well-positioned on the last spurt. |

Race Types refer to the track distance (Sprint, Mile, Medium, Long).
Yellow Skills concern the performance factors velocity, acceleration, and positioning (or navigation). They're the most important type of skill you will want to have on a character since they directly improve speed on the racecourse on top of your existing Speed and Power stats.

Blue Skills directly affect your character's Stamina drain and recovery. Because of this, they can make or break capability of a character to complete a distance at the best speed possible.
Having these recovery skills can also help you pass stamina checks in a Career, provided they can proc often (such as in the case of Swinging Maestro which activates on corners).

Running Styles refer to a character's running strategy (Front Runner, Pace Chaser, Late Surger, End Closer).
Green Skills are race passives that add value to your existing character stats. On which stat they can be inferred from their skill icons (Lone Wolf, for example, giving extra speed according to the Boots icon).
Green Skills are great to have in Career, and in Team Trials if your character will be short on a stat in PvP. They're not exactly something you'll want right away when training Umamusume, but they're good additions at the end of each Career run.

Red Skills, also known as debuff skills, are skills that concern controlling and affecting other opponents in a race. They're best used by characters with a sufficient amount of Wit to guarantee consistent procs in all races.
They are not as pronounced when training in Career runs, but they earn much of their value in PvP-oriented room matches or Team Trials where they can be used to debuff other races in helping a Ace or team member pass or maintain a lead.
