・A Late Surger natural at Medium and Long races. Easier to build as a Late Surger Long since she'll still be able to use the potential skills Feature Act and Lie in Wait. Has a relatively easy-to-activate unique skill Eternal Encompassing Shine. ・Can be made into a Pace Chaser easily (needs 1★ Pace Chaser sparks). She will be unable to use Lie in Wait as Pace, but it will make it easier to satisfy the stronger condition of her unique skill. ・Can be easily trained for the Mile-Medium-Long rotation in Trackblazer by raising C Mile aptitude to A (needs 4★ Mile sparks). ・Has the growth rates: 15% Stamina and 15% Wit.

・Can be compatible for the Mile-Medium-Long race schedule rotation in Trackblazer, with Mile aptitude only needed to be raised from C. ・Her unique skill Victory Cheer! is an excellent velocity and acceleration skill for Long Front Runners. The velocity and acceleration boost activation from the skill is subject to track conditions. ・Great legacy parent for Long Front Runners for a long time. Currently still used for inheritance in JP. ・20% Speed and 10% Stamina makes her suitable enough for Long races.
Matikane Tannhauser (Clippety Tippety Clop)
Overall Tier:	Training Easiness: Team Trials: CM11:
・Available as a 2★ Character. A natural at Mediums and Longs, and can run in both Pace and Late styles. ・Can be compatible for the Mile-Medium-Long race schedule rotation in Trackblazer, with Mile needed to be raised from D. ・Unique skill Go, Go, Mun! gives her both stamina recovery and a velocity boost. Most useful in Long races. ・Potential kit is average at best in terms of consistency. Unruffled requires being surrounded in the mid-race and Shake it Out is a late-race recovery skill (can be too late to be effective). She'll need better skills from elsewhere to be competitive. ・20% Stamina and 10% Guts makes her suitable for Long races.

ⓘ Silence Suzuka can be trained as a Runaway 'rabbit' in Unity Cup to assist in increasing the pace of Front Runners. She is expected to be used in this CM to help Kitasan Black, whose unique skill Victory Cheer! can activate in 2nd place. *Each starting aptitude for trainees can only be improved up to 4 grades (using up to 10★ sparks of the same aptitude). Aptitude increases beyond that require inspiration events in career.

Overall Tier List Highlights (SS Rank)

Oguri Cap (Starlight Beat)	・Proven reliability in all modes involving Mile, Medium, or even Long. Can even be made to run on Dirt tracks. ・Remains competitive still since her top rating in Taurus Cup (CM1). ・Easy to train (easier in Pace style). Top selector pick, even when starting out. Reliable even with the release of Oguri Cap (Ashen Miracle). An alright pick if you don't have her Christmas version.
Oguri Cap (Ashen Miracle)	・Best used in Medium and Long races. Can be used in Mile and Dirt, but specific setups are needed to to maximize her Unique Skill. ・Unique Skill Festive Miracle is the first Unique Skill to provide velocity, acceleration, and recovery at the same time. ・Unique Skill's activation point is very flexible, and can easily be manipulated by changing her learned recovery skills and (if needed) running style. A more flexible and powerful version of the original Oguri Cap. Will be relevant for quite a while (can fall off once evolved skills are introduced).
Seiun Sky (Reeling in the Big One)	・Natural at Mediums and Longs, but can also be effective in Mile. ・Mandatory parent for competitive Front Runners due to the strength of her skill. ・Top competing Front Uma since the days of the Cancer Cup (CM3). Expected to be a very reliable Front Runner parent for a long period.
Maruzensky (Hot☆Summer Night)	・Still a reliable pick even with the Balance Adjustments (Nov. 11, 2025). Built well, she can serve in a wide range of distances. ・Unique Skill complements her existing recoveries, making her more reliable on longer distance than others. ・Was a top contender since the days of the Leo Cup (CM4). Longevity will depend on whether she can still keep up on the release of Valentine Mihono Bourbon.
Taiki Shuttle (Wild Frontier)	・A strong alternate selector pick after Oguri Cap. Very reliable for Sprint-Mile and Dirt. ・Unique Skill is a good general inherit for Pace Chasers. ・Generally easy career and is a strong candidate for Mile CMs with the Balance Adjustments (Nov. 11, 2025) as observed in the Virgo Cup (CM5). High ranking holds still even in the JP server. We can expect her to hold for a long time.
Mihono Bourbon (CODE: ICING)	・Front Runner with all-in-one essentials (Groundwork, Early Lead, Front Runner Savvy ◯, etc.) ・Consistent unique skill that gives a velocity boost and stamina recovery. ・Balanced growth rate of 10% Speed, 10% Stamina, and 10% Power. A meta Front Runner pick for a long time due to ease of skill setup. Gives immediate access to Groundwork. Also has skills that can support its activation.
Kitasan Black (Gilded Shrine to Glory)	・A strong Long Front Runner ace and a valuable Front Runner parent for a long time. Still trained in the JP server until today. ・Unique Skill is best for Long races. But not recommended for any shorter distances. ・A much-needed choice for a dedicated Front Runner in the Long-distance category. A decent Front Runner choice for trainers who want to compete in Long distances.

Scoring Summaries
Training Easiness Total	Umas here are graded based on the ease of their training and careers. This is subject to change in the future in the case for new Scenarios. Sakura Bakushin O is one example of an evergreen SS Training Easiness Uma. This is in part due to her Sprint-heavy race career and growth rate.
Team Trials Total	Umas here are graded based similarly on how also they can get to 1st place, but more focused on how much they can provide points through skills and team flexibility. In most cases, top tier Champions Meeting Umas can also be good Team Trials Umamusume. But not the other way around since the focus of CMs is mainly getting first.
Champions Meeting Total	Umas are graded based purely on getting 1st place or helping their teammates achieve 1st place; whether they serve as Ace leads or specialized support (debuffers). This criteria sees the most changes due to Umas needing to conform the track aptitudes and specifications of every CM.
Longevity	Evaluations strongly consider skill inheritance and their reliability in the long run. For example, characters like Oguri Cap are proven to be stable picks for the day-to-day, even on CM changes. This is for scaling ranks better for the expected power creep in the future, such as the arrival of Christmas Oguri Cap.
= Highly effective in all/nearly all game modes. = Effective in several or specialized in one or two game modes. = Specialized in one game mode and acceptable effectiveness in others. = Specialized in one game mode or requires more effort to be effective in one or more.

The Overall Tier List ranking conveys overall effectiveness in a wide range of game modes, with consideration to other factors such as the value, flexibility, and competitiveness of a trainee in the long-term.

Training Easiness Criteria

Scoring Summaries
Initial Distance Aptitudes	In Trackblazer, being able to have access to a lot of races is a must for easier shop coin gain and the acquisition of Trackblazer epithets. Covering at least Mile and 1 other adjacent distance (Sprint or Medium) is okay, while being able to cover all 3 distances is the best (Mile-Medium-Long rotation).
Surface Aptitudes	It's best for Umamusume to have access to Turf since most of the G1 races are held on Turf. Dirt races are rarer early on and fewer in variety, so we can't recommend sticking only to that distance for the Trackblazer scenario.
= A natural at or can be adapted easily to the Mile-Medium-Long rotation with very little sparks (0-1 star). = Can meet Mile-Medium-Long rotation within 2-6 stars, or is Mile-Medium but can do both Turf or Dirt races. = Generally requires 7-11 stars to meet Mile-Medium-Long rotation. Can often perform in the standard Mile-Medium (or even including Sprint) rotation. Counts exceptions to those that can be adapted to do both Turf and Dirt races. = Severely requires a lot of stars (12+), have F-G in Mile, Medium, or Long, or E and less in Turf aptitude.

The criteria above are our evaluation standards for the ease of Umamusume training, based on the Trackblazer scenario. Characters are evaluated based on how easily they can meet the requirements of a desirable race schedule and rotation (mainly Mile-Medium-Long rotation).

Previously, Umamusume were evaluated based on their career goals and events. Race goals and most trainee events, such as secret events that require certain races, are absent in Trackblazer.

Scoring Summaries
Flexibility	Umas who are easily capable of occupying different teams with different aptitude requirements will rank higher on the Team Trials Tier List.
Skill Strength	This means Umas with strong skills, whether they're unique skills, starting skills, and potential level skills.
Stat Growths	Stat Growths are noted but strong Support Card setups and lucky runs can bring better results than expected of an Umamusume's tier in the tier list.
= Flexible and can perform well in most teams. Has highly desirable skills. = Can be flexible, but can just be specialized and is the best for a certain team. = Sufficient enough to compete in a team. Can be highly specialized to one team. = Usually restricted to one team and requires more work to become effective.

To win in Team Trials, you'll want to focus on maximizing your points on each race which is done by having your team leading or closest to the front and activating the most skills. In this case, building Umas purely on debuffs are a significantly of less priority compared to Champions Meeting.

Scoring Summaries
Skill Strength	Umas with highly desirable skills, such as Maruzensky with Red Shift/LP1211-M or Seiun Sky with Angling and Scheming, will find themselves rated higher on the list. This includes innate skills and potential skills.
Aptitude Specialty	Umas who have the natural aptitude for the upcoming/current Champions Meeting course will be rated higher on the list.
Role-Appropriate	Umamusume who can serve very well in specific roles in a team of 3, such as Oguri Cap for an Ace or Nice Nature for a Debuffer, will be rated higher on the list.
= Strong skills, well-suited to a role for the race, and meets the course's aptitude requirements. = Average-strong skills, can be effective or serve as a sub for a role in the race, and meets the course's aptitude requirements. = Average skills but usually outclassed or requires more work for certain aptitudes. Can still compete effectively if trained well. = Initially does not meet the course's aptitude requirements and requires a lot of work to be effective.

Above is our Tier List Criteria for constructing lists for the Champions Meeting. Champions Meeting only counts the amount of 1st place wins in your races to advance to the next around and ultimately the finals.

This mean only 1 racer on your team is required to hit the finish line. This increases the tension and dynamic of the team, since teammates can be trained more to act as a substitute Ace or to support others on their team rather than take the win.
