Tosen Jordan (Jokester ☆ Vibes)
|
|
|
Overall Tier: |
Training Easiness:
Team Trials:
Champions Meeting:
*CM rank considers Scorpio Cup (CM7) |
|
・More suitable as a Pace Chaser due to skills, although running her as a Late Surger is possible. She can be built for Medium and Long races, but Medium is preferred.
・Growth rate is
・Unique skill Pop & Polish is a velocity skill that has strict activation requirements (2nd-3rd place, 9-gate/CM), and requires her to either be an overtake target or to have just overtaken someone.
・Her Unique skill becomes easier to activate in a future update. |
|
Tosen Jordan (Jokester ☆ Vibes) is now available in the game's Global version! She is best suited for Medium races, but can also run Long races if needed. While can run as either a Pace Chaser or a Late Surger, her skill selection, Unique Skill requirements, and B aptitude for Late Surger make her better as a Pace Chaser.
While she is not a meta pick, players can still choose to roll for her if they like her as a character. Additionally, her Unique Skill will be reworked in a future update, making it easier to activate when running as a Late Surger, so players can also roll for her in preparation for this. Outside of that, however, Mejiro Dober and Christmas Oguri Cap are still better options.

Symboli Rudolf (Archer by Moonlight)
|
|
|
Overall Tier: |
Training Easiness:
Team Trials:
Champions Meeting:
*CM rank considers Libra Cup (CM6) |
|
・Alternative character outfit to Symboli Rudolf (Emperor's Path).
・More suitable as a Pace Chaser due to having several Pace Chaser skills. She can be built for Long and Medium races. ・Unique skill Arrows Whistle, Shadows Disperse is a velocity skill that has a similar activation window to Red Shift/LP1211-M (1st-5th place, 9-gate/CM), but requires the additional condition of about to be overtaken. ・Has Fall Frenzy gold green skill which passively boosts Speed and Power stats, making her promising for Autumn/Fall season races. |
|
Gold City (Autumn Cosmos)
|
|
|
Overall Tier: |
Training Easiness:
Team Trials:
Champions Meeting:
*CM rank considers Libra Cup (CM6) |
|
・Alternative character outfit to Gold City (Authentic / 1928).
・Better built as a Late Surger for Mile races. She can be built for longer distances with Lie in Wait, but you will have to forgo Battle Formation and Unyielding Spirit. ・Growth rate is
・Unique skill Dancing in the Leaves is a strong velocity and acceleration skill that activates in the final corner in the midpack (3rd-6th, 9-gate/CM). Can work for the upcoming CM Scorpio Cup. But it is a gamble since it requires being blocked from either side at a time, so don't count on it always activating.
|
|
Two new characters sporting festival outfits have arrived in Global! Symboli Rudolf (Archer by Moonlight) and Gold City (Autumn Cosmos). The former is suited to being a Long or Medium distance Pace Chaser, while the latter is still best used as a Mile-distance Late Surger but can be made for longer distances with Lie in Wait.
The default versions of these characters already perform well, so these outfit characters are seen more as favorite/fashion picks. Though they do show promise for PvP if they aren't classed as meta. Feel free to pull for any of them, but for meta savers, it's recommended still to save for upcoming picks like Mejiro Dober and Christmas Oguri Cap.

|---|---|
Oguri Cap (Starlight Beat)
|
・Proven reliability in all modes involving Mile, Medium, or even Long. Can even be made to run on Dirt tracks.
・Remains competitive still since her top rating in Taurus Cup (CM1). ・Easy to train (easier in Pace style). Top selector pick and when starting out. Expected to be reliable for a long time until the release of Christmas Oguri Cap. Default will still be an alright pick if you don't have her. |
Seiun Sky (Reeling in the Big One)
|
・Natural at Mediums and Longs, but can also be effective in Mile.
・Mandatory parent for competitive Front Runners due to the strength of her skill. ・Top competing Front Uma since the days of the Cancer Cup (CM3). Expected to be a very reliable Front Runner parent for a long period. |
Maruzensky (Hot☆Summer Night)
|
・Still a reliable pick even with the Balance Adjustments (Nov. 11, 2025). Built well, she can serve in a wide range of distances.
・Unique skill complements her existing recoveries, making her more reliable on longer distance than others. ・Was a top contender since the days of the Leo Cup (CM4). Longevity will depend on whether she can still keep up on the release of Valentine Mihono Bourbon. |
Taiki Shuttle (Wild Frontier)
|
・A strong alternate selector pick after Oguri Cap. Very reliable for Sprint-Mile and Dirt.
・Unique skill is a good general inherit for Pace Chasers. ・Generally easy career and is a strong candidate for Mile CMs with the Balance Adjustments (Nov. 11, 2025) as observed in the Virgo Cup (CM5). High ranking holds still even in the JP server. We can expect her to hold for a long time. |
| Training Easiness Total | Umas here are graded based on the ease of their training and careers. This is subject to change in the future in the case for new Scenarios. Sakura Bakushin O is one example of an evergreen SS Training Easiness Uma. This is in part due to her Sprint-heavy race career and growth rate. |
|---|---|
| Team Trials Total | Umas here are graded based similarly on how also they can get to 1st place, but more focused on how much they can provide points through skills and team flexibility.
In most cases, top tier Champions Meeting Umas can also be good Team Trials Umamusume. But not the other way around since the focus of CMs is mainly getting first. |
| Champions Meeting Total | Umas are graded based purely on getting 1st place or helping their teammates achieve 1st place; whether they serve as Ace leads or specialized support (debuffers).
This criteria sees the most changes due to Umas needing to conform the track aptitudes and specifications of every CM. |
| Longevity | Evaluations now strongly consider skill inheritance and their reliability in the long run. For example, characters like Oguri Cap are proven to be stable picks for the day-to-day, even on CM changes.
This is for scaling ranks better for the expected power creep in the future, such as the arrival of Christmas Oguri Cap. |

The Overall Tier List ranking conveys overall effectiveness in a wide range of game modes. As of November 26, 2025, the Overall Tier List is now curated manually rather than relying on a scoring system (ranging from 3-12) for a more stable tier list in the long run.
This is in light of rapid tier adjustments in every Champions Meeting which can cause changes that may not accurately reflect the character's overall value. Character longevity is now a more strongly considered factor alongside other existing criteria.
| Stat Growths | We refer to existing stats, most importantly stat growths, to see how easy it is to train a priority stat. The most important stat in career would be Speed and Stamina, with lack of Stamina being one of the guarantees for failed runs if not carefully trained for. |
|---|---|
| Race Goal Easiness | Career races are considered when ranking Training Easiness. Umas with more required Long races in career are typically harder to train. This also considers Umas who are forced to participate in a race that they are not naturally specialized in (ex. King Halo having in Medium and Long goal races even at B aptitude). |
| Career Events | We consider Umas which have unique gimmicks or career events that can hinder optimal training routines (ex. Gold Ship's Fickle Maiden Event, Super Creek's Under the Weather event, and Rice Shower's numerous mood reduction events). |

All Characters can be trained to their best stats in their aptitude, but not all are equal when it comes to training demands. Above is our evaluation criteria for the easiest-hard training based on game experience and accessibility to support cards.
The four notably easiest to train Umamusume characters are:
| Flexibility | Umas who are easily capable of occupying different teams with different aptitude requirements will rank higher on the Team Trials Tier List. |
|---|---|
| Skill Strength | This means Umas with strong skills, whether they're unique skills, starting skills, and potential level skills. |
| Stat Growths | Stat Growths are noted but strong Support Card setups and lucky runs can bring better results than expected of an Umamusume's tier in the tier list. |
| Scoring Summaries | |
|
|
|
To win in Team Trials, you'll want to focus on maximizing your points on each race which is done by having your team leading or closest to the front and activating the most skills. In this case, building Umas purely on debuffs are a significantly of less priority compared to Champions Meeting.
| Skill Strength | Umas with highly desirable skills, such as Maruzensky with Red Shift/LP1211-M or Seiun Sky with Angling and Scheming, will find themselves rated higher on the list. This includes innate skills and potential skills. |
|---|---|
| Aptitude Specialty | Umas who have the natural aptitude for the upcoming/current Champions Meeting course will be rated higher on the list. |
| Role-Appropriate | Umamusume who can serve very well in specific roles in a team of 3, such as Oguri Cap for an Ace or Nice Nature for a Debuffer, will be rated higher on the list. |

Above is our Tier List Criteria for constructing lists for the Champions Meeting. Champions Meeting only counts the amount of 1st place wins in your races to advance to the next around and ultimately the finals.
This mean only 1 racer on your team is required to hit the finish line. This increases the tension and dynamic of the team, since teammates can be trained more to act as a substitute Ace or to support others on their team rather than take the win.
