Course Notes
・Late-race starts on the final corner. This means the strong inheritable acceleration skills, Angling and Scheming and Let's Pump Some Iron, are best here. No Stopping Me! is potentially strong, but unreliable due to spreading out at the final corner.
・Some final corner accelerations are only good under certain conditions. For example, Shooting for Victory! is only good on Taiki Shuttle herself. Red Shift/LP1211-M is possibly usable by Late/Ends only. Moving Past, and Beyond activates too early to be effective.
・Final straight isn't too late for acceleration. This means skills like Victoria por plancha, Give Mummy a Hug, and Straightaway Spurt are all viable.
・Downhill is present, so investing in Wit is good. However, do not learn Straight Descent, because it isn't effective even if it activates.
・Uphill is in the late-race, and could be used for acceleration with Highlander. The uphill is also fairly long, so strong acceleration and high Power is necessary to win.

Limited Dirt Options

The Aquarius Cup is the first Dirt Champions Meeting. Much like the previous CM, there aren't a lot of easy training options to choose from, as the Global server is lacking good Dirt racers.

Among them, El Condor Pasa as a Pace Chaser is the most accessible and has a decent unique. However, her unique is more reliable as a Front Runner, which will also require multiple sparks. Agnes Digital is also expected to be one of the strongest options here due to having Lead the Charge and Superstan. She works best as an End Closer, but can be viable as a Late Surger, too.

Other notable Umamusume include Smart Falcon and Summer Maruzensky, who are the most viable Front Runners. Taiki Shuttle and Oguri Cap are also good Pace options if you have them. The recently released New Year Haru Urara could also be a competitive racer, especially when paired with another ace that can widen the gap and make her unique stronger. As for the regular Haru Urara, she's not as competitive for this race but can be run as a Late Surger if you don't have other options.

Other Aces Require Several Sparks

Base Grade Sparks Needed to A
B 1
C 4
D 7
E 10

If you want to use aces other than the ones recommended above, you'll need to improve their Dirt aptitudes. This is fairly difficult for F and G, because these can't be further improved through initial sparks. They will have to rely on Inspiration to get at least an A.

One notable candidate is Summer Maruzensky, who has D Dirt. Her great performance in Mile can help her be a second Front Runner to run alongside Smart Falcon.

ⓘ Prioritize maximizing stats in this order: Stamina Stamina > Speed Speed > Power Power > Wit Wit > Guts Guts.
┗ Make sure you can at least reach the baselines for Stamina and Guts to avoid losing speed before reaching the end of the race.

As a Mile race, aim to have at least 600 Stamina for all styles so they can stay at top performance throughout the race. Look to also get high Power to overcome the uphill of this track and a good amount of Wit to take advantage of the downhill.

Best to Train in Unity Cup Scenario

Unity Cup (Aoharu Hai)

The best scenario to train for the Aquarius Cup is the Unity Cup. While you can still train in the URA Finale Scenario, the Unity Cup offers higher stats and gives easy access to rare skills like It's On! and No Stopping Me!, making it the ideal way to train your aces.

Stats boosted by these Green Skills are hinted at in their skill icons. For example, Left-Handed shows boots, which means it boosts the Speed stat, Firm Conditions buffs Power, and Front Runner Savvy improves Wit. Aim for these skills to further increase your stats.

Due to the long uphill at the start of the late-race, strong acceleration is key to winning this race. Lead the Charge! is a Dirt acceleration for all styles that will become available with the upcoming Agnes Digital Power SSR and is already on Agnes Digital herself. Its base form, Forward, March!, is also a viable alternative since that card is generally underwhelming.

Also, aim to get inheritable uniques, like Angling and Scheming and Let's Pump Some Iron, which are strong on this track. For rare acceleration skills like Furious Feat, you can learn its base version from sparks or skill hints instead if it means using a stronger support card for better stats.

No Stopping Me! is less reliable in Mile races due to how runners spread out in the final corner. However, it's potentially strong if you're lucky and get it to activate as soon as the late-race starts. We still recommend avoiding it unless you don't have other options for acceleration.

Lastly, don't forget to learn some mid-race velocity skills like Professor of Curvature, so your aces can get in good positions before hitting the late-race.

As a Mile race, recovery isn't really needed if you can get enough Stamina. However, for racers with recovery-related uniques, like Summer Maruzensky and Christmas Oguri Cap, it's best to only learn the base version of the skills. This is so you can use the remaining skill points on more impactful skills.

Aquarius Cup Red Skills

Red Skills

As a Mile race, stamina debuffs aren't as strong for this race. Instead, look to use Speed debuffs, especially Speed Eater, to slow down runners behind while raising your own. Keen Eye is also technically a speed debuff, but being tied to a recovery means its net effect won't be as noticeable.

This time around, you can focus on maximizing Speed and Power while getting a good amount of Wit.

For the Aquarius Cup support cards, aim for Wit decks with at least 2 Speed cards and ideally 3 Wit cards. The final card can either be Power to help reach the high amount required for this race, or a Pal card such as Riko Kashimoto. Some good Power cards include Daitaku Helios SSR for Front Runners and Admire Vega SSR for End Closers. Oguri Cap SSR can also be considered for Late and End for Furious Feat.

As with previous Champions Meetings, aim to get at least 34 Race Bonus to gain more stats from winning races. If this isn't possible, try to use high-level cards instead because high uncap SRs can outperform SSRs with no uncaps.

If you want to prepare parents for your aces so they can run better cards, you can try the decks above. Try to aim for at least 600 of the stat you want to pass down for a chance to get a 3 Star stat spark. You may also use other versions of the same character (such as the R version) if you're only after the random skill hints and not the skills from the career events.

For Aquarius Cup parent decks, the Inari One Power SR has many good skills to pass down for all styles, including Forward, March!, Winter Runner, Ramp Up, and Tail Held High. Yukino Bijin cards also have Winter Runner and can give Playtime's Over. Nishino Flower supports can also be good for Updrafters and 2 green skills (Firm Conditions and Standard Distance). Daitaku Helios supports have Mile-related skills and can benefit Pace Chasers and Front Runners more with Shifting Gears and Speed Eater.
