Speed is the most important stat in Umamusume, so consider equipping 2-3 Speed Support Cards. Use Power Support Cards as well, to help boost your Power training since it is an important stat for Late Surgers.

Speed > Power > Stamina

Late Surgers both require a balanced distribution for Speed and Power, as you will need the latter in order to overtake other runners later in the race.
