How to Train for Long Races

Balance Your Stat Training Depending on Style

SpeedSpeed StaminaStamina PowerPower WitWit(If End Closer)

When training for Umamusume that will race on Long races, you should focus on trying to balance Speed, Stamina and Power. Speed is always a priority in any race, while Stamina is for you to maintain your Speed throughout it, and Power so you can overtake others.

We also suggest training Wit if you plan to get many End Closer skills throughout the training.

Train Power Depending on Running Style

Front Runner/Pace Chaser
Speed Stamina >> Power
Late Surger
Power > Speed Stamina
End Closer
Wit > Speed Stamina

Running on Long distance tracks requires you to balance different stats but it will depend on what your running style is. Playing End Closer will require you to focus on Wit as you will need to have many skills to catch up to the front.

Get Long Distance Skills

Focus on getting Long distance skills during training to help improve your Umamusume's run on a Long race track.

Use Speed and Stamina Support Cards

Speed Deck

Long racers will require your Umamusume to have a lot of Speed so use 3-4 Speed cards and also Stamina cards in order to maintain your speed during the latter half of the race.
