The Unity Cup: Shine On, Team Spirit! scenario, known as Aoharu Hai in the Japanese version of the game, is now available as of November 6 (UTC).
The Unity Cup was originally released during the game's Half Anniversary in Japan. This is a permanent scenario and will still be accessible even after more scenarios are released.
Based on Global pacing, this scenario is expected to be the best way to train for around 4 months for competitive Umamusume until the 3rd scenario, Make a New Track (MANT).
| Support Cards | Deck Setups |
The list above may be subject to changes.
For this scenario, the Riko Kashimoto cards are most notable for their energy management and training effects, helping mitigate increased energy consumption Unity Training and Spirit Bursts. Tazuna Hayakawa can still be used, but Riko will benefit the most for being scenario-linked. Riko's events, compared to Tazuna's, provide a good amount of Stamina and Guts.
Rice Shower Power SSR is a noticeable standout Power card that can assist builds for longer distances, since the card itself can provide Swinging Maestro along with its scenario-link bonus Cooldown.
You'll still want to adjust your cards depending on what distance and style goals you have for your trainee.
| ⓘ Deck setups below are suggested for completing the Unity Cup with competitive results. Feel free to build around them based on preference! | ||
| Speed Wit | Front Runner Groundwork | Double Pal |
| Speed Power | Speed Stamina | - |
In the Unity Cup scenario, you can still make results with the usual 4-Speed deck variation, but with the new mechanics and cards like Riko Kashimoto, you can get optimal results even with 3-Speed setups.
| Sample Speed Wit Setup | |
|---|---|
Kitasan Black (Fire at My Heels) Rarity: SSR Type: Speed King Halo (First-Rate Plan) Rarity: SR Type: Speed Sweep Tosho (Lamplit Training of a Witch-to-Be) Rarity: SR Type: Speed Matikane Fukukitaru (Fate's Forecast) Rarity: SR Type: Wit Nice Nature (Daring to Dream) Rarity: SSR Type: Wit Fine Motion (Wave of Gratitude) Rarity: SSR Type: Wit ・Easy to use and comfy deck setup that doesn't need Riko Kashimoto or other Pal cards. Unity Training/Spirit Burst energy consumption is mitigated through greater energy recovery on Wit Training with Wit Cards. ・Great for short distances like Sprint or Mile. Medium is achievable if you get good rolls on Stamina training and taking recovery skills. Otherwise, you will mostly hop between Speed and Wit training. ・Can still get optimal results on Speed while naturally also having great results on the Wit stat. |
| Sample Front Runner Groundwork Setup | |
|---|---|
Kitasan Black (Fire at My Heels) Rarity: SSR Type: Speed Twin Turbo (Turbo Booooost!) Rarity: SSR Type: Speed Sweep Tosho (Lamplit Training of a Witch-to-Be) Rarity: SR Type: Speed Smart Falcon (My Umadol Way! ☆) Rarity: SSR Type: Power Nice Nature (Daring to Dream) Rarity: SSR Type: Wit Fine Motion (Wave of Gratitude) Rarity: SSR Type: Wit ・Variation of the Speed Wit deck setup where the source of Groundwork skill is from a support card. Recommended for Front Runners, who benefit most from this skill in a competitive environment. |
| Sample Double Pal Setup | |
|---|---|
Kitasan Black (Fire at My Heels) Rarity: SSR Type: Speed Sweep Tosho (Lamplit Training of a Witch-to-Be) Rarity: SR Type: Speed Nice Nature (Daring to Dream) Rarity: SSR Type: Wit Fine Motion (Wave of Gratitude) Rarity: SSR Type: Wit Riko Kashimoto (Planned Perfection) Rarity: SSR Type: Pal Tazuna Hayakawa (Tracen Reception) Rarity: SSR Type: Pal ・Still a viable setup. Deck comfort is handled by the Pals like Riko Kashimoto and Tazuna Hayakawa. Their effects are greater the more limit breaks they have. ・Setup has overall better mood handling and gives an efficient mood buildup route in the beginning of your career (ex. Mood up the first time you train with Riko or Tazuna). ・No need to focus too much on Stamina (esp. with Stamina sparks). Fine for short distances like Sprint or Mile. |
| Sample Speed Power Setup | |
|---|---|
Kitasan Black (Fire at My Heels) Rarity: SSR Type: Speed King Halo (First-Rate Plan) Rarity: SR Type: Speed Sweep Tosho (Lamplit Training of a Witch-to-Be) Rarity: SR Type: Speed Rice Shower (Happiness Just around the Bend) Rarity: SSR Type: Power Vodka (Wild Rider) Rarity: SSR Type: Power Daitaku Helios (Let's Get This Party Lit!) Rarity: SR Type: Power ・Great results can be more of a gamble, since chances are you may end up with more Power than Speed when you want Speed to be maxed out first. ・Results are great for Power-hungry styles, such as Lates and Ends, or for shorter distances that require more Power like Sprint. |
| Sample Speed Stamina Setup | |
|---|---|
Kitasan Black (Fire at My Heels) Rarity: SSR Type: Speed Biko Pegasus (Double Carrot Punch!) Rarity: SSR Type: Speed Sweep Tosho (Lamplit Training of a Witch-to-Be) Rarity: SR Type: Speed Rice Shower (Happiness Just around the Bend) Rarity: SSR Type: Power Super Creek (Piece of Mind) Rarity: SSR Type: Stamina Riko Kashimoto (Planned Perfection) Rarity: SSR Type: Pal ・Can be tried to ensure you have mostly enough stamina for Long. High-rolled results are also possible with just Super Creek and Riko Kashimoto. ・Having Riko along, can still be comfortable to use compared to non-Wit, non-Pal decks. |

| Quick Summary/Key Points ・Focus on Unity Training with your teammates to win Team Races and get bonus stats in career. ・Maximize Spirit Bursts to get large stat boosts and raise team member stats/ranks. ・Training Facility levels are raised through raising team stat ranks. ・Skills hints can be earned through Spirit Bursts. |

| Round 3 | After Classic Year Late Dec |
| Round 4 | After Senior Year Late June |
| Finals | After Senior Year Late Dec |
Every six months in your career (Late June and Late December), you will have to participate in Team Races which has you fielding five teams of racers similar to Team Trials.
In each Team Race is a set of five races covering each distance (Sprint, Mile, Medium, Long, Dirt). Once you have completed all five races, you will receive an increase to all stats, with the amount based on your performance.
For the best result of your trainee's career, make sure to win these team races. The difficulty of team races can be overcome by taking advantage of the Spirit Burst Mechanic to raise team member stats and organizing your team members according to their preferred aptitudes.
How to Win Unity Cup Team Races
In the Unity Cup, it is preferrable to maximize your teammate training (developing Spirit Bursts) over taking regular races unless these races contribute to your race goals, since taking a race means you'll be taking a turn off from developing your teammates' stats and rank, directly affecting also your progress of raising your Training Facility levels.
| Recommended SSR Wit Cards | ||
|---|---|---|
Fine Motion (Wave of Gratitude)
|
Nice Nature (Daring to Dream)

Mejiro Dober (My Thoughts, My Desires)
|
In Unity Cup, maximizing your Training turns is recommended to also increase training sessions with teammates. Wit Support Cards have great value in this case, since they increase energy recovery in the Wit facility on top of also being a teammate training node. Having energy means you don't have to resort too much to resting.
Having 2-3 Wit cards will be a viable setup in the Unity Cup, even in PvP. This is typically good for Sprint-Mile setups, but you can adjust for just 1 Wit card for more Stamina and Guts options for longer distance builds.
You're free to use any other SR card, such as Marvelous Sunday Wit SR or Matikane Fukukitaru Wit SR, if you don't have the above SSR Wit cards.

| Organizing Team Members | |
|---|---|
| ・Team members can be arranged between distances, similar to Team Trials. Place them where their aptitudes are at A for the best results.
・A minimum of 1 racer is required for each distance. Up to 3 racers can be placed in a distance team. ・Filling a team with higher ranks is recommended. |
|
Your team members will consist of your Trainee, your Support Cards, and other characters throughout the career. Characters besides those in your Support Card deck can join at random.
Characters' stats and ranks are raised by training with them, and their ranks increasing will contribute to the increase of your overall team rank.
How to Increase Team Rank (Unity Cup)
Although the Unity Cup scenario revolves around the Unity Cup races, you will still need to do well in your trainee's race goals, including the final 3 URA Finale races. Similar to the URA Finale, failing your trainee's race goals enough times will lead to your career run ending.

Team Zenith can be difficult to beat if your Team Rank is not high enough. This is because your rank also determines the bonus to all attributes, with the highest being +50 at rank 5 or above. This makes it possible for a team with an A rating to beat them. To ensure you can get to Rank 5, you must win the middle option only once and win the top option for all the other races.
Usually, picking the middle option for the 1st race is the safest bet. If you manage to reach the 4th race after winning the top race everytime, you can safely pick the middle option and not lose out on much. You also avoid having to risk losing against the Turf Queens or The Apex.

Instead of leveling up with repeated use like in the URA Finale, training facilities will instead improve based on your team's overall ranking for that stat. For example, if your team's overall Speed stat rating is A Rank, then your Speed training facility will be at Level 4.

| Spirit Burst Mechanics |
|---|
| Increases the stat gains from a training facility when triggered.
・2 or more Spirit Bursts stack additively. ・Spirit Bursts can appear together with Friendship Training. ・Spirit Bursts, if not taken, can reappear on the same or another facility. ・Spirit Bursts increase training energy consumption with the exception of Wit, which increases energy gain instead. ・Only 1 Spirit Burst will be available per character. Once triggered, they will not appear again. A small blue flame indicator appears at the bottom-right of a character's icon once a Spirit Burst has been triggerd for them. ・Skill hint indicators will mostly be hidden due to the Unity Training indicators taking their place on the training icons, so you'll want to inspect every facility just to be sure if there are any skill hints. |
While training, a flame icon will be present besides a teammate. Training on a facility with these teammates will increase their Spirit Burst Meter. When the Spirit Burst Meter is full, selecting a training with said teammate will trigger a Spirit Burst.
A Spirit Burst will give your trainee extra stats from the facility she trains on. This applies not just to your trainee, but also to the team member who triggered the burst. You will also a random skill hint whenever a Spirit Burst is triggered.
It is important to note that you do not need to immediately trigger a Spirit Burst. You can wait until the team member with a Spirit Burst is at the stat you want to increase before activating it.
The stats gained through Unity Training increases depending on the number of people involved in Unity Training. Unity Training with multiple Umas at once in a stat is the most efficient way to gain stats along with building their Spirit Burst meter.
Unity Training bonuses adds to Spirit Bursts. When Spirit Bursts happen, the increase from multiple participating Umas still occurs. For example, if you were to get +15 Stamina from a Spirit Burst of 1 Uma, the +2 from another Uma with Unity Training (total 2 Umas in training) will also apply.
Spirit Bursts are stacked in fixed values, so there is no multiplicative benefit to triggering multiple Spirit Bursts at the same time. Still, Spirit Bursts add to the previously mentioned Unity Training bonus involving multiple Umas, so it's still good to actively go for Spirit Bursts even if they occur in groups in the same training facility.

Spirit Bursts in the Unity Cup get a boost from scenario-linked Supports. The stat boost difference isn't big enough to warrant building a deck for just that alone. But you'll still want to take note of these details when organizing your Unity Cup team.

| x7-9 | Ignited Spirit X Lv. 3 + 15 Skill pts. |
| x4-6 | Ignited Spirit X Lv. 1 + 15 Skill pts. |
| ⓘ Rare versions of the skill have the "Burning" label. Common versions of them are referred to as "Ignited". | |
Completing several Spirit Bursts will reward a skill in Senior Year Early November. It is recommend that you maximize Spirit Bursts as much as you can to get the most amount of Hint Levels for the skill you will get!
The type of exclusive skill rewarded will depend on the highest stat rank of your team. If 2 or more team stat ranks are equal, a random exclusive skill will be given corresponding to 1 of those stat ranks.
It is recommended to prioritize Unity Training early on to raise the stats and rank of your team member, ensuring security of winning team races. Friendship Training bonds can come second, since Unity Training and Spirit Bursts do provide signifcant stat gains. But you'll want to make the most out of both the further you are in your career.
| Skill | Effect |
|---|---|
| Increases velocity mid-race. Scales according to the total Speed of team members. | |
| Recovers endurance mid-race. Scales according to the total Stamina of team members. | |
| Increases acceleration late-race. Scales according to the total Power of team members. | |
| Increases velocity and acceleration late-race. Scales according to the total Guts of team members. | |
| Improves navigation early-race. Scales according to the total Wit of team members. |
Of the exclusive skills above, PWR looks to be the most beneficial for its late-race acceleration bonus. GUTS comes in second for providing velocity and acceleration in the late-race, and then SPD for mid-race velocity instead if you do not have either. STA is to be considered depending on your Stamina and recovery skill needs, and WIT is considered last since it just improves navigation in the early-race.
Note that the exclusive skills depend on your overall team's stat corresponding to that skill. For example, Burning Spirit PWR will have a stronger effect if each member of your team has high power stat. This means it'll work best in a triple Ace team well-developed with Power, and may be weaker in teams where 1 or more members are more developed in other stats (such as Wit for debuffing).

You can check how many Spirit Bursts you've done by clicking on the button beside your Team Rank. This will display your Team Info, which contains the total number of Unity Trainings and Spirit Bursts done so far.

Upon reaching Rank S for your overall team rank, you will get an event that gives you the skill It's On with a +1 Hint Level. If you are using a scenario-linked training such as Taiki Shuttle, you will get It's On with +3 Hint Levels instead.

A long list of Balance Adjustments will be available to Global on November 11, 2025 08:00 UTC, about 5 days after the launch of the Unity Cup. A maintenance will be performed first at 02:00 UTC on the same day.
This balance adjustment introduces major changes from the JP 1st Anniversary several months early, such as the Guts rework, new race mechanics, better bad condition management, and mostly bufffed skills and events. Expect the Unity Cup experience to be a bit more different to how it was experienced on other servers previously.

There will be an option for you to pick a Team Name in the Unity Cup during Junior Year Late September. The available team name will depend on which scenario-linked character above is present, either in your Support Card deck or as a trainee. If you don't bring any scenario-linked characters, Team Carrot will be picked by default.
You will need to win against Team Zenith in the Unity Cup finals to be rewarded with the corresponding skill. For the best chances of winning against them, win the preseason Unity Cup races (which reward attribute bonuses) and make the most of Unity Training before the finals.
The following 3 are top suggested skills from the scenario-link bonuses:
| Character | Normal Bonus | Scenario Link Bonus |
|---|---|---|
| Taiki Shuttle | +10 Speed | +20 Speed +10 Skill Points |
| Rice Shower | +10 Stamina | +20 Stamina +10 Skill Points |
| Haru Urara | +10 Guts | +20 Guts +10 Skill Points |
| Matikanefukukitaru | +10 Wit | +20 Wit +10 Skill Points |
| Riko Kashimoto | +10 Wit | +20 Wit +10 Skill Points |
| +10 Energy | +15 Energy +1 Mood |
In addition to the team name selection and skills, you may also get random events featuring the characters above while doing the Unity Cup. Having a character that is scenario-linked will improve the bonuses they give.
| Sources | Details |
|---|---|
| Riko Kashimoto | Increased stat gains from her events. |
For other bonuses in the Unity Cup, using the Support Card of Riko Kashimoto will provide bonuses, in a similar way that Aoi Kiryuin provided in the URA Finale scenario.
Riko's cards are good to make use of, since they make energy and training management easier, along with having events that give a lot of Stamina and Guts.
| ⓘ Future Updates listed are based on JP changes and may be subject to change. |
| 1300 | 1300 | 1300 | 1300 | 1800 |
In a future update, the Unity Cup Scenario will have increased stat caps for all stats. Speed, Stamina, Power, and Guts will all have an increased cap of 1300, while Wit will have an increased cap of 1800. This gives you some room to create even better Veterans for Team Trials.
|
|
Increase velocity when passing another runner mid-race. |
Reaching Rank S+ for your overall team rank will give another +1 Hint Level with a scenario-linked trainee, totalling to +4 Hint Levels for the skill.
In the future, the Unity Cup can receive an update where Extreme Spirit Bursts can appear (these appear as Purple Spirit Burst icons). Compared to regular Spirit Bursts, this gives bigger stat boosts, skill hints, and will also set your Training Failure Rate to 0% when active.
| Stronger Team Races Conditions |
|---|
| ・Team rating is 10 or higher.
・Overall Team rank is A or higher. ・Extreme Spirit Burst has occured at least once. |
In the future, stronger opposing teams in a Team Race can appear when you satisfy the above conditions. Winning against this team in a Team Race will grant boosts to stats and give skill hints.
Winning in this special race will also lead to the appearance of a stronger Team Zenith in the Unity Cup finals. Defeating this team also grants greater stat boosts, skill hints, and Aoharu factors (アオハル+) which increase effects and skill points in addition to hint levels.
In a future update, Skill Hints obtained from Spirit Bursts will no longer be random; they will come from the related character's Support Cards instead of random skills.

URA Finale Scenario |
Aoharu Hai Scenario |
This scenario sucks hard, There'sNOTHING to do without relying hard on RNG, and it doesn't matters which Uma Musume you're playing - both for the story development and for the cards you use, same deck with everyone. This scenario lacks the soul of the URA Finale.
