What Does Wit Do?

The Wit stat determines the skill activation rate during the race, allowing your Umamusume to perform better depending on what skills they got.

Higher Wit stat also lowers the chances of being Rushed during a race. Being Rushed consumes more stamina than normal during the middle part of a race.

Position

Another aspect that Wit affects is the position of your Umamusume when running a race. Higher Wit stat means your Umamusume will more likely to take the optimal line and not get stuck behind the other runners.

Stamina Consumption

Wit stat also affects how your Umamusume consume their stamina. Higher Wit means your Uma will preserve stamina more efficiently.

This is especially helpful on running styles such as End Closers as they need to save their stamina until the last corner where they need to expend it to overtake the other racers.

How to Increase Wit

Train in Wit

Wit Study

During career mode, players have the option to assign Wit training to their Umamusume, increasing their power stat. This will be the primary method for increasing Wit, which is enhanced by supports. Ensure that friendship gauges are raised accordingly to optimize the stats obtained from training.

This is also the less risky training, as it has the lowest failure rate among all stat trainings when your energy is half or lower.
