Passive Skills offer small performance boosts for your Umamusume when specific conditions are met before a race begins. While not the most impactful skills, they're cheap enough to provide bonus performance when better options aren't available.
There are Passive Skills that can be triggered easily and these can be especially helpful to clear Career runs. For example, Lone Wolf often activates because NPC Umamusumes rarely have it. Target in Sight also triggers consistently since it works when your Umamusume is the No. 1 favored racer.
