Curren Chan was released on July 27, 2025. An excellent sprinter suited for Front and Pace chaser styles, she can be a valuable addition to your roster. While not a necessity, she can provide great value to your sprint team with her debilitating passives that can be utilized in team races.

Competitively, Curren Chan isn't a necessary pull. You could do fine with other SR Sprinters such as Sakura Bakushin, who is easy to train and free. You can also make use of King Halo and Air Groove (when raised A sprint aptitude), as they are decent sprinters as well. In Sprints, she will be good to pair with Taiki Shuttle and Maruzensky (when raised to A sprint aptitude).
That being said, Curren Chan is still an excellent pace-chasing sprinter and will relax picks for the Sprint Team since you won't have to force raising Sprint aptitudes of other trainees. If you're participating in Team Trials Class 3 or higher, consider investing in her. She will excel in this category and be a noticeable upgrade to your sprinter lineup.
If you have a proper deck of support cards already, feel free to pull her if she is your favorite. Your enjoyment takes priority over anything else, so don't hesitate to pull for her if you want to!

As usual, she will be available in future banners, albeit with lower rates. This means you can still obtain her if you fail to get her during her featured banner.
