Suck endurance from runners ahead when well-positioned and pressured by another runner mid-race. |

Rice Shower's unique skill has the ability to drain the stamina of other runners ahead of her. To trigger this skill, the following conditions must be met:
Although this skill drains stamina, its effects are minimal to the target. As such, this skill is more like a gold recovery skill than a debuffer skill.

Rice Shower (Vampire Makeover!) is a Pace Chaser for Long races. Although her Unique Skill, Every Rose Has Its Fangs, can drain the stamina of other runners, the effect is very minimal, making it more of a Gold Recovery skill.
Because of this, her impact in Team Trials is a little lacking, although she can be used in certain Champions Meetings thanks to her access to recovery skills and debuffs. Unless you really like her as a character, consider skipping her banner and rolling for someone else.

|
|

When training Rice Shower, use the brand new Unity Cup scenario to take advantage of the new Spirit Burst mechanic. This not only lets you gain more stats than normal, but can also provide useful Skill Hints.
Running Rice Shower (Vampire Makeover!) as a Pace Chaser is a must for various reasons. First, she already has an A rank for the running style, making it easier to push it up to S-rank. Second, she has access to the Pace Chaser gold recovery skill Calm and Collected.
Lastly, her Unique Skill activates when she is well-positioned. Running as a Pace Chaser helps her get into position to activate her Unique Skill.
Since you will be running Rice Shower as a part of your Long team in Team Trials, try to improve her Long aptitude to enhance her performance during her races.
We suggest adding a Pal Support Card like Riko Kashimoto to Rice Shower's builds in order to counter her Mood Down events. Having a Pal card in your deck allows you to raise Rice Shower's Mood through Recreation and card events, effectively preventing negative effects when her Mood lowers during her Career.
Recreation Guide: How to Improve Mood

Since Rice Shower will be part of your Long Team in Team Trials as a Pace Chaser, we recommend getting the stats above so she has enough Stamina and Power to beat the competition. Getting a Gold Recovery Skill like Calm and Collected will help lower your Stamina requirements.
However, do note that Rice Shower has four Long races to prepare for in her career, so reaching a baseline stamina will help her with these races. Below are the respective Stamina requirements:
If you are only planning to clear a career run with Rice Shower, then you can aim for lower stat numbers, as the stats above are for Team Trials.
As Rice Shower will be running both Long and Medium races, a 3 Speed, 2 Stamina, 1 Pal deck helps meet your Stamina requirements for those distances. Additionally, running Riko Kashimoto will not only provide additional Stamina, but will also help counter Rice Shower's multiple Mood Down events.
This deck is for players who are starting out and are still trying to get a feel of the game's mechanics and intricacies. This deck can help you get the needed stats to clear the career, while also providing important skills.
Take advantage of the game's borrowing feature to borrow a powerful MLB SSR, like Kitasan Black. Additionally, if you do not have an MLB copy of Riko Kashimoto (Tracen Academy), it would be better to use another SR Stamina card instead.
For Support cards, we recommend a 3 Speed, 2 Stamina, 1 Pal deck. This will allow Rice Shower to get the Speed and Stamina she needs for her Long races, as well as the Power she needs to accelerate to the front.
Riko Kashimoto (Planned Perfection) will help you meet Rice Shower's Stamina requirements, while also providing additional benefits like Energy Recover and Mood improvements.
These stats are enough to clear the URA Finale easily, as they provide enough Speed, Stamina, and Power for all of Rice Shower's career races, especially when partnered with the correct skills.
As for the deck, you can run a 3 Speed, 3 Stamina setup to account for the Long and Medium races in her career.

For Legacy Sparks, we recommend trying to find Stamina and Power sparks as Rice Shower will need them for her races. If you find yourself lacking in Power, you can change the distribution of Stat sparks to include more Power sparks. As for aptitude sparks, focus on getting Long sparks and Pace Chaser sparks to improve her performance during Team Trials.
You can use either your own Veterans, or borrow the ones from your friends. If you do not have Veterans with full sparks, you can go with whatever you have access to.
As a Pace Chaser, Rice Shower will need skills that help her keep her position before overtaking near the end. Skills like Professor of Curvature will help her keep her Speed during the race. In the late race and final spurt, skills like Head-On will help you pick up speed to overtake runners in front of you.
Recovery skills are crucial to top up Rice Shower's stamina. Her unique skill counts as a recovery skill, but having at least two will help with her Long races. Calm and Collected is an accessible option as it's included in her kit. Alternatively, Swinging Maestro is also a good choice for its reliability.
As for unique skills to inherit, skills like Triumphant Pulse and Shadow Break can help guarantee your win by providing a final burst of speed near the end of the race.
If you cannot get the recommended skills, you can replace them with similar skills that you have access to. You will just need to make sure that Rice Shower (Vampire Makeover!) can activate said skills in a race.

A Tale That Blooms from the Heart is a hidden event introduced during the recent balance adjustment patch. The event requires you to win races held in the Kyoto Racecourse, regardless of their grade. Winning at least 2-3 Kyoto races will show you a version of the event with fewer rewards, while winning 5 or more Kyoto races will show you the version with better rewards.
It is important to note that three of Rice Shower's career races are held in the Kyoto racecourse: the Kikuka Sho, the Tenno Sho (Spring), and the Takarazuka Kinen which is held in Kyoto racecourse during Rice Shower's career, rather than in Hanshin racecourse.
To maximize the rewards of this event, aim to win 5 or more races held in the Kyoto Racecourse, as this gives you +10 to Speed, Stamina, and Guts, as well as +2 skill hints for Kyoto Racecourse and Firm Conditions ◯.
