Career Progression Guide
Level Up Your Support Cards
Always stay on top of your Support Cards as they are the main core of your Career progress.
Consider using your Carats for powerful Support Cards and dupes to increase the effectiveness of your training.
Grow Your Friendship Bonds
In Year 1 of your Career, your priority should be raising the Friendship Bonds of your Support Cards.
This will greatly increase your future training sessions when you max out your bond.
This is the key to greatly increasing your Usamusume's stats in the later years of the career, especially in the Summer Training Camp.
Train Speed, Stamina, and Wit
It is always best to raise all the stats of your Usamusume. However, there are three crucial skills that set the pace of your Career: Speed, Stamina, and Wit.
Speed dictates how fast your Umamusume can go. Stamina is how long your Usamusume can maintain their top speed. Wit, among other effects, affects when your Usamusume will use their skills.
Keep an eye on these stats to boost your chances of winning a race.
Follow Accounts for Support Cards
Friends are a great way for free-to-play players to gain an additional power boost. You can borrow one Support Card and one Legacy Usamusume before starting a Career.
Start adding more friends so that you can strengthen your Career strategy.
Borrow Legacy Umas From Friends
By paying Monies, you can use your Friends' Legacy Usamusume for your own Career.
This is an easy way to strengthen your trainee as a free-to-play player. Eventually, this will also help you create stronger Legacy Usamusume in your own roster.
You can borrow Legacy Usamusume three times per day.
Do Daily Races and Legend Races
There are two types of races you can do outside of Career: Daily Races and Legend Races.
Just like in other gacha games, there are Daily Races you can do to earn resources for your roster's growth. Do them regularly to keep increasing the level of your Support Cards.
Legend Races are limited-time races where you race a featured character. You will be rewarded Star Pieces for that character, which can be used to increase its rarity,
Always try to participate in these races to completely upgrade an Usamusume.
Check Details for Info on Next Race
On the top part of the screen, you can click Details to see all the races you need to win for your Career.
Take note of the distance, weather, and track type of these races. These will inform you on what stats to train and what skills to buy.

Anonymous 5 monthsGeneral rules of thumb for URA scenario are: at least 2 speed cards; at least 1 wit card; long distance should have 2 stamina; medium distance should have at least 1 stamina. In the first month, don't worry about tailoring a deck towards a particular running style. But if you want to check if a support card fits your trainee uma's style, inspect their granted skills list, particularly the gold skill, and see if it matches the trainee's distance, aptitude, and/or surface.
