These characters prefer starting races being in the lead, and tries to sustain the lead all the way up to the end of the race. Consequently, this running style emphasizes heavy investments to speed and stamina.

Pace chasers play follows the front of the pack very closely, reserving their stamina for the middle to late race. They will require more Power due to the fact that they will need to overtake the other participants towards the end.

Late Surgers generally opt to maintain a central position, positioned behind the Pace Chasers. Late Surgers tend to conserve their stamina, only beginning to increase their pace in the race's second half. This style preferers skills that are most effective during the latter half of the race.

End Closers stay at the very back of races, making them the most conservative running style. They try to win races by overtaking all of the other competitors near the end of the race, making the stat requirements of Speed and Power the highest of all four running styles.

Front Runners must establish an early lead and maintain sufficient stamina to sustain it for the duration of the race. In this regard, Speed and Stamina will be the preferred stats for Front Runners.
For Pace Chasers, they typically need enough Speed to maintain their position relative to the front of the pack, as well as enough Power to be able to successfully overtake the other participants. As such, Speed and Power are the preferred stats for prioritization among Pace Chasers.
Late Surgers must possess both Speed and Power to overtake opponents, as well as sufficient Wit to trigger their skills. The Wit investment can also benefit the character because they can allocate fewer points in Stamina and invest in Stamina skills instead.
It's important to correctly allocate all stats for End Closers because they need a good mix of everything to win races. This makes End Closers the hardest to train, because they have very specific stat requirements.
| Sprint | Mile | Medium | Long |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1000-1400m | 1401-1800m | 1801-2400m | 2401m+ |
When assigning stats based on the Racing Style, you also need to consider the race distance, especially the Stamina stat. If the distance is short, you won't need as much stamina, so you won't need as many Stamina Skills. Make the necessary changes to your stats, and optimize them as needed.
