How to Level Up Archive
The Archive in Umamusume: Pretty Derby rewards you for collecting Trainees, Veteran Umamusume, Support Cards, and events. Learn what the Archive is, how to level it up, and its rewards by reading below!
What is Archive
Collection of Umamusume Records
In the Archive, the profiles of your Umamusume and Support Cards are recorded here. Your Archive Level is raised by creating stronger Veteran Umamusume, collecting epithets through Career achivements, or finding new events and cutscenes.
Hall of Fame for Your Strongest Umas
The Hall of Fame records the highest rating each character received after they completed a Career. Getting high ratings in your roster can increase your Archive level.
Trainer Notes for Uma Profiles
In the Trainer Notes, you can check a character's Profile, Bond Level, and how many fans they collected overall. The higher your Bond Level is with that character, the more information you can see in their Profile.
You can also see what outfits and Support Cards they have in Album; special cutscenes in Stories; their unlock animations in Videos; their voice lines in Voices; and their collected titles in Epithets.
Event Gallery for Career Cutscenes
In the Event Gallery, you can review all the events that happened in the game. These include events specific to a character, events from a Support Card, and events from each Career Scenario.
Though these cutscenes will not show you the result of each choice, you can use our Event Choice Checker to see how every outcome will affect your Trainee!

Update Your Characters' Ratings
Train different characters to raise their Rating Record and earm Archive Exp. You will earn more experience if you train a wide amount of characters.
Whenever you gain new Support Cards or raised a character's Potential or Stars, train them again to reach a new Rating Record.
Get More Trainees and Support Cards
The more characters and Support Cards you have, the more content you can unlock for your Archive Level. You will also need to collect most, if not all, of the characters and Support Cards for a high Archive Level.
Acquire more Epithets
You can also earn Archive Exp by acquiring Epithets. There are titles your character can earn through reaching specific Career milestones or by completing a series of races like the Triple Crown.
Unlock More Career Events
A passive way to increase your Archive Exp is by unlocking Career Events. Some events, like the Acupuncturist Event, happen rarely, so you can unlock eventually by playing Career Mode with different characters.
Some Career Events also locked by outfits, which are obtained through scouting or by unlocked the third ★ of a character.

Your Archive Level can also increase by watching Story cutscenes. Watching these episodes will also earns you Carats, so it is recommended to watch them when you can.

Maximum Archive Level is 200
Everytime you level up your Archive, you will receive Carats. The number of Carats you receive increases for every 100 levels. When you reach Archive Level 200, you will have received a total of 13,375 Carats.
However, this will take an extremely long time. You will need to unlock most, if not all, of the Umamusume and Support Cards. Then, you will need to play Career mode extensively to unlock all the cutscenes and create Veteran Umamusumes with S+ Rating.
