However, with a specialization in Guts and a set of passives that don't complement each other, Mejiro Palmer will have difficulty finding a place in any support deck.

Currently, it is suboptimal to build a Guts or a Front Runner for Long races, as there are more accessible support cards for Late Surger and End Closer-type characters. It is currently much better to build characters this way, but this could change as more support cards are added.
Suffice it to say, you can safely skip this banner for now. There are plenty of support cards that offer much more value, such as Kitasan Black, whose banner currently overlaps with Mejiro Palmer's.
