For Daiwa Scarlet's URA Finale Career, unless you have other goals, you should pick the Japanese Oaks. Winning the Japanese Oaks will increase your Mood by 1 stage. This race is similar to Daiwa's previous Goal races and can be won with proper training.
If you got 1st in her previous Goal race, the Oka Sho, you can get the Triple Tiara epithet. To earn the title, you need to win the Japanese Oaks and, her next Goal race, the Shuka Sho.

The other choice in Daiwa Scarlet's Her Trainee Event is to join Vodka in the Japanese Derby. This is a more difficult race because Vodka can also be a difficult opponent. Daiwa Scarlet will not have a lot of stats at that stage of her Career.
At the current state of the game, the only benefit to following this path is for the challenge and the opportunity to watch Daiwa and Vodka's interaction with each other. Aside from that, you take the risk of taking on a more difficult opponent.
How to Win Races at Any Distance

To get the best stats for the race, it is best to have Stamina Sparks in your Trainee's Legacy Umamusume. It is an important stat for her standard builds and Daiwa Scarlet does not have any additional Growth Rate for it.
If you do not have a Veteran Umamusume with those sparks, you can borrow one from another account. Use our Friend ID Sharing Board to find the best Legacy for your Trainee.

Then, build a Support Card deck to maximize Daiwa Scarlet's Front Runner style. We recommend a Support Card deck of 4 Speed, 1 Power, and 1 Stamina. You can adjust this based on your current Support Cards and Legacies.
This Support Card build, along with Stamina Sparks via Inspiration Events, will give you a good amount of stats and possible skills by the time the Japanese Oaks/Derby happens.
Daiwa Scarlet (Peak Blue) Build Guide
Daiwa Scarlet can also be a good Pace Chaser if you have the Support Cards and Legacies for it. Her standard Support Card deck for this style is 3 Speed, 2 Power, and 1 Stamina.

Before the race, you should buy skills to increase your Trainee's chances of getting 1st. After the Classic Year Inspiration Event, your Trainee will have enough Skill Points to buy one or two skills.
You should prioritize getting strong Rare Skills, those marked in yellow, like Swinging Maestro and Professor of Curvature.

1: you CANNOT run the classic triple crown with scarlet - the Oka Sho and the Shuka Sho are goal races that coincide on the same turns as the Satsuki Sho and the Kikuka Sho respectively. 2: running the Japanese Oaks will grant a +1 Mood event titled "The Japanese Derby" right after clearing said race 3: there is a yet-to-be-added bonus for running and winning the Japanese Derby - but this is still unimplemented overall: just run the Oaks unless you haven't recorded the Derby yet (archive lvl)
