Increase ability to break out of the pack when engaged in a challenge in midpack on the final corner. |

Dancing in the Leaves is a unique skill that activates on the final corner. In a 9-gate race (CM), this will activate in the 3rd-6th positions when the user is blocked on either side for a time.
It's a split acceleration and velocity skill that will be effective when it activates at the right time. It can just be difficult to activate consistently due to its block condition.

Gold City looks great dressed in a kimono for the Autumn Festival, however, she's a bit difficult to use in terms of gameplay. Her unique is one of the most powerful skills for the Scorpio Cup, but it is also hard to activate due to requiring to be blocked on the side while runners are spreading out in the final corner.
She also comes with a rare acceleration debuff, which can be powerful, but its early-race condition is hindered by a short delay. It can potentially become better when Summer Gold Ship becomes available to allow it to trigger later in the race, but it will still be subject to some randomness.
| Training Tips |
|---|
|
|
This Gold City's kit is more tailored for Mile Races, particularly because of her debuff. Potential 4 should be enough to get Late Surger Corners since she doesn't need a gold recovery for Mile races. If you do want to run her in Medium or Long, you can go for max potential for Lie in Wait.
For Team Trials, you'll want to use her mainly for Mile races. Because of her innate skills, you'll also want to run her as a Late Surger. She's usable in Medium and Long races as well if you give her the right sparks and skills.
Despite being a Mile specialist, Gold City has to run all 3 G1 Long races in her career. For these races, having enough Stamina is the key to making it through them. For the Kikuka Sho, aim for at least 400 Stamina, while for the Tenno Sho (Spring), aim for at least 500 Stamina. If you can't get enough Stamina from a Wit or Power deck, try to aim for more Stamina sparks to reduce the Stamina training needed.
Gold City has a random event called "I Overslept!" which increases her energy, but restricts the training to just one type for that turn only. Take note that this can happen multiple times in a row. If your training gets restricted, you can do something else for that turn.
This includes Resting, Recreation, or even Racing. Alternatively, if the only training you can perform has one or more Friendship Trainings on it, you can also opt to Train that turn instead.
Starting in May of the Senior Year, every non-career race of Gold City will give two additional stats instead of the usual random one. You can focus on racing if you feel your stats are already high enough, but for the Unity Cup, we recommend being selective with taking on additional races.
| 1200 | 600 | 800 | 400 | 400 |
As a Late Surger, Gold City will need Speed and Power to help her get to the front of the pack in the later parts of the race. Prioritize these two stats while improving her Stamina for her Long career races. Lastly, increase her Wit and Guts in that order.
It is important to note that if you cannot reach the stats recommended above, you can instead aim for a similar stat distribution. You can then compensate for the missing stats using skills.

3-Speed, 3-Wit card setups are recommended at least for building Gold City (Festival) to be competitive in Mile races. Wit cards make it more comfortable in the Unity Cup scenario where you want to maximize Unity Training. In addition, more Wit training means more skill points you can put into your trainee. If you're struggling to hit Power and Stamina requirements, you can opt to use a 3-Speed, 2-Power, 1-Pal deck, with priority for Riko Kashimoto.

These stats are enough to clear the URA Finale easily, as they provide enough Speed, Stamina, and Power for all of Gold City (Festival)'s career races, especially when partnered with the correct skills. As for the deck, you can either run a 4 Speed, 2 Power deck, or a 3 Speed, 2 Power, 1 Pal deck, with Tazuna Hayakawa as the preferred card.

For skills, Late Surger-style skills are highly recommended for Gold City (Festival). Let's Pump Some Iron and Behold Thine Emperor's Divine Might are some recommended Late Surger examples for Champions Meeting use. You may also put in Mile skills whenever available.
No Stopping Me! may not consistent for Mile races since racers tend to spread out on the final corner, but you can still have them in a gambling skill for these distances.
If you cannot get the recommended skills, you can replace them with similar skills that you have access to. You will just need to make sure that Gold City (Festival) can activate said skills in a race.

She realized one day, however, that running is her true heart's desire. Since then, she has raced ever forward so that she may be recognized not for her looks, but for her talent. She's understood most by her good friend Tosen Jordan. | ||
