Unlike the base version of Air Groove, this version has access to more speed skills, making her a more speed-centric trainee. You can pull for her if you would like to run a more speed-focused Air Groove instead of the debuff-focused original. You can also pull for her if you like Air Groove as a character.

Air Groove has an A rank on her Pace Chaser aptitude, while also having access to some Pace Chaser skills like Pace Chaser Corners ◯ and Pace Chaser Savvy ◯. Additionally, her Unique Skill requires her to be positioned towards the front mid-race, which she can easily do as a Pace Chaser
As such, running her as a Pace Chaser is ideal so to maximize her advantage in races.
It's also possible to run Air Groove as a Late Surger if you prefer, as she does have A aptitude on the running style. The downside is that you do lose access to her Pace Chaser skills, while also making it slightly difficult to activate her Unique Skill.
To increase the amount of skills you immediately have access to on Air Groove, it is recommended to max out her Potential level to get access to Corner Connoisseur. However, if you do not have the Monies or materials to do so, you can instead level her Potential to at least Potential Level 3 for the skill Big-Sisterly.
As Air Groove only has a B rank on her Mile aptitude, use a Legacy with Mile sparks to increase her Mile aptitude to A rank. We recommend doing this if you want Air Groove to win her 2 Mile races during her early career. Additionally, as Air Groove has access to Unyielding Spirit and Big-Sisterly, having A rank Mile aptitude makes her a viable Mile runner in Team Trials.
Legacy and Sparks Guide: Inheritance Explained

Similar to her original counterpart, this version of Air Groove is a Medium Racer with a preference to being a Pace Chaser or Late Surger (although she's more inclined to being a Pace Chaser). As such, increasing her Speed and Power are a priority.
Increasing her Stamina will also help her keep her speed and position. Increase her Wit afterward to help her activate skills and avoid getting Rushed.
It is important to note that if you cannot reach the stats recommended above, you can instead aim for a similar stat distribution. You can then compensate for the missing stats using skills.
Similar to the original, we recommend a deck of 3 Speed, 1 Stamina, 1 Power, and 1 Wit. You can swap the Wit card for a Speed or Power card, but since this Air Groove has a +10% Stat growth rate for Speed and Power, this is not necessary.
These cards will help Air Groove (Quercus Civilis) level her needed Stats (especially with Rainbow/Friendship Training), as well as provide some needed skills like It's On! and Gourmand.

If you do not have the cards from the recommended deck, you can replace them with a similar stat card that provides skills that Air Groove (Wedding) needs. These can be SSR cards, or even SR cards. Above are some of the SR cards that you can use in place of SSR Support cards.

Stamina and Power sparks are recommended, as Air Groove will need it for her races. You can get some more Power sparks if needed, since Air Groove's races do not require as much Stamina. For running style sparks, get Pace Chaser sparks to improve it from A to S, as this version of Air Groove is more aligned for Pace Chaser.
For distance sparks, you can choose to get Mile sparks to help with her two career Mile races. Alternatively, get Medium sparks to improve her performance for most of her races.
You can use either your own Veterans, or borrow the ones from your friends. If you do not have Veterans with full sparks, you can go with whatever you have access to.

When picking Legacies, try to select compatible legacies, as they increase the chance of inheriting additional sparks during the Inheritance events. This is not required, but is highly recommended.

Since this Air Groove is primarily a Pace Chaser to make the most of her Unique, Innate, and Potential skills, you will need both speed and stamina skills, specifically those tied to passing other runners.
It's On! and Speed Star are both good skills that make it easier for Air Groove to break out of the pack and overtake, which then gives her speed. Professor of Curvature provides speed in corners, while Homestretch Haste can give even more speed in the last spurt.
For Stamina skills, Swinging Maestro and Gourmand are your best choice, and should be enough to satisfy her stamina needs in any race.
If you cannot get the recommended skills, you can replace them with similar skills that you have access to. You will just need to make sure that Air Groove (Wedding) can activate said skills in a race.
