| Support Card | Placement |
|---|---|
Marvelous Sunday (A MORE MARVELOUS WORLD! ☆)
|
Tier:
・Hints are okay (includes Tail Held High). But the late-race recovery Adrenaline Rush is not as useful as other mid-race or consistent gold recovery skills like Swinging Maestro. ・Stats are average with notable initial stats such as Initial Friendship with Specialty Priority. Has 5% Race Bonus. ・Marvelous Sunday Power SSR is generally the better option for Trackblazer decks. |
Curren Chan (Cozy Cute Memory ♪)
|
Tier:
・Has 5% Race Bonus. A nice stat stick with a notable Specialty Priority (65) at MLB. Comparable to Shinko Windy Speed SR and Sweep Tosho Speed SR ・Skills are mostly best only for the Sprint distance. ・Not exactly a must-pull; a great 3rd choice for a Speed SR or when you do not have other options. |
| Support Card | Placement |
|---|---|
Narita Top Road (Peachy Silhouette)
|
Tier:
・Strong unique perk that increases Training Effectiveness in the facility participating in, according to the number of fans accumulated. ・Good amount of 10% Race Bonus at MLB, and good stats in general. ・Most effective only in the Trackblazer scenario. |
Mejiro Bright (Little by Little)
|
Tier:
・Stats are okay but the gold skill Overwhelming Pressure isn't the best competitively. Can still be used in Team Trials. ・Okay to use if you don't have other SSR Stamina support cards. ・At MLB, has 5% Race Bonus. |
Satono Diamond (Special Dreamers!)
|
Tier:
・Stats are generally below average even at MLB. ・Has Lie in Wait, which is generally a recovery good skill for Late Surgers. Can be considered for this. ・Has 5% Race Bonus at MLB. |
Admire Vega (Aim for the Brightest)
|
Tier:
・Has high 15% Race Bonus at MLB due to the card's unique perk. This makes it great in the Trackblazer scenario. ・First event in the card's event chain can grant Practice Perfect ◯, similar to Fine Motion (SSR Wit). |
Sakura Bakushin O (The Perfect Morning Greeting!)
|
Tier:
・Has 10% Race Bonus at MLB. Good for Trackblazer. ・Can give the Tail Held High skill, and most of its skills favor Sprints. ・An okay choice if you plan to use Power Cards in Trackblazer. |
Mejiro Ryan (Hot Hearts and Cool Drinks)
|
Tier:
・Okay Stamina card with 5% Race Bonus at MLB. But there are usually better options, such as Manhattan Cafe (SR Stamina). ・Offers little skills, the best in its kit being Slick Surge. |
Special Week (At the End of the Day)
|
Tier:
・Offers a chance to give Head-On, which is generally good for Pace Chasers. Offers mostly Pace Chaser skills. ・Similar to the Sakura Bakushin O (SR Power), okay stats if you plan to use Power Cards in the Trackblazer scenario. ・Gives 5% Race Bonus at MLB. |
Reviews are based on the Support Cards' max limit break stats.

Support Cards are arranged by Speed → Power → Stamina → Wit → Guts → Pal, then SSR → SR.
Above lists each current SSR and SR Support Card per tier, sorted by Card Type and Rarity.
R-class support cards were omitted to minimize bulk on the list (which will see more Support Cards later on). R Cards are still viable for Career completions, but SSRs and SRs will remain to be the go-to cards for raising Veteran Umamusume competitively for game modes such as Team Trials.

|
・Scales very well with Fan Bonus, giving 20% Training Effectiveness at 200,000 Fans. ・10% Race Bonus and has a decent skill selection. |
Biko Pegasus (Double Carrot Punch!)
|
・Unconditional 10% Race Bonus and 20% Training Effectiveness, can substitute or be used with Narita Top Road. ・Remains a solid general Speed card for Trackblazer. |
Kitasan Black (Fire at My Heels)
|
・Still one of the best Speed cards during training despite only having 5% Race Bonus. ・Professor of Curvature remains a solid general Gold skill for any Umamusume. ・Great and valid support as long as total race bonus is higher than 50%. |
Special Week (The Setting Sun and Rising Stars)
|
・Previously free card with 10% Race Bonus and can provide Gourmand, an excellent recovery skill for Pace Chasers. |

Admire Vega (Aim for the Brightest)
|
・The only other SR support with 15% Race Bonus ・Has both Speed Bonus and Power Bonus, usable in Guts and Non-Guts decks ・First chain event restores Energy |
Ines Fujin (Watch My Star Fly!)
|
・High Guts specialty priority, 15% Training Effectiveness, and Speed Bonus makes up for the 5% Race Bonus ・Generally only used in Guts decks ・Fronts can get Restless |
Fine Motion (Wave of Gratitude)
|
・Great general Wit card with 10% Race Bonus ・Pace Chasers can learn Speed Star |
Nice Nature (Daring to Dream)
|
・The only Wit card with 15% Race Bonus ・Another good Wit card for all styles ・Late Surgers can gain strong acceleration in On Your Left! |
Mejiro Dober (My Thoughts, My Desires)
|
・Previously free Wit card with 10% Race Bonus, ok as a filler card when maxed out ・The Bigger Picture is a cheap gold skill for Late Surgers in Team Trials |
Agnes Tachyon (Experimental Studies on Subject A)
|
・One of 2 Wit SRs currently with 10% Race Bonus ・Also a solid all-around Wit card |
Marvelous Sunday (A Marvelous ☆ Plan)

Kitasan Black (Fire at My Heels)
|
・Best all-around Speed Card. Very high Specialty Priority at MLB, leading to frequent Speed Friendship Training.
・Has Professor of Curvature, which is a useful all-around velocity skill in general. ・Has good energy recovery and Mood events, and even a random event that allows you to get Practice Perfect ◯. |

Biko Pegasus (Double Carrot Punch!)
|
・Very high Training Effectivness makes it a great card to float and boost other training stats aside from Speed training.
・Skills are oriented towards Mile and Sprint, so the card acts more of a stat stick otherwise. ・Has some good energy recovery events. |
Sweep Tosho (Lamplit Training of a Witch-to-Be)
|
・Accessible Speed stat stick with high Specialty Priority.
・Has some Training Effectiveness, but some of her main highlights is the ability to give Charming ◯ and Lone Wolf. |
Narita Brian (Two Pieces)
|
・Easy-to-get story Speed Card.
・Gives Lone Wolf and useful skills for Medium-Long distance, and Pace Chasers. |
General cards are typically effective in any style and deck. Majority of their power comes from being stat sticks, or giving useful properties such as good conditions, general-use skills, and good events that help manage training such as energy recovery and Mood improvement.

Mihono Bourbon (The Ghost Finds Halloween Magic)
|
・Event chain gives Taking the Lead, one of the best acceleration skills for Front Runners.
・Other skill hints are useful for Front Runners. |
Front Runner characters always try to position themselves at the lead, so they'll want skills that can push and maximize their leading abilities in the early and mid-race. Debuffers are not exactly a category of running style, but is a strategy that comes handy in more competitive races such as Champions Meeting. Some Support Cards will give useful skills for slowing down other racers, giving you an edge in controlling the crowd for overtakes.
When building for debuffers, take into account the kind of debuff skills you'll want since most debuff skills will only target racers with a specific style.
