The main method to gain Monies is to do the Career scenario. Each time you complete URA Finale and participate in races, you'll earn Monies.
We recommend participating in any G1, G2, or G3 races during the extended phase of the scenario. Participating in these races during Career scenario will give you 200 up to 600 Monies depending on the race grade.

One way to earn a lot of Monies is to have Haru Urara participate in many races consecutively. Since Haru Urara's career consists of many turns where you have to earn many fans as her goal, she's the perfect Umamusume to be a Monies farming horse.
Letting her race without stop will lower her Mood and will bring her Energy down to 0. This also means you have to neglect training with her, so we don't recommend this method much unless you really need Monies.

Another way to earn Monies is to complete Daily Races. Choose the Hard difficulty of Moonlight Sho Daily Race which will give more Monies compared to lower difficulties.
There are 3 Daily Race tickets which means you can only do 3 Daily Races per day. However, there are weeks where they give 6 tickets instead.
If you want more money, you can spend 100 Carats to get another 3 tickets. However, we strongly do not recommend this as Carats are important currency to pull in the Gacha.
There are limited-time story events that usually lasts for more than 2 weeks where you can earn Monies from doing the missions of said events.
Use the Support Cards that these events gives as they usually give more event points that is needed to obtain the event rewards.

Special Missions are limited-time missions where you will have to complete different objectives to gain the rewards in them which usually involve Monies.

Legend Races will give you 10,000 Monies if you manage to beat the Umamusume featured in that race. Alongside Monies, you will also get Star Pieces participating in these races.

Converting shoes and sashes are another source for earning Monies. Though, they're not usually recommended since you will need to have a lot of them to make some noticeable income. You'll also want to save this materials whenever you need to upgrade Potential Levels – which also cost Monies!
| How to Maximize Monies Farming |
|---|
To have a higher chance of performing better in races, we recommend training an Umamusume with multiple A rank aptitudes, as they will excel better in a lot of fields.
Oguri Cap and El Condor Pasa are two Umamusume with multiple A Rank Aptitude.

We recommend using Legacy that will improve your Track and Distance up to A. Having multiple A Aptitudes will mean that you have a higher chance of winning different types of races.

When building a deck that will maximize your Fan gain in races, we recommend maximizing your Race Bonus to gain more stats when completing races.
Currently, the highest Race Bonus you can get is 15% from specific cards (when fully uncapped), so we recommend building your deck with high Race Bonus in mind.

Monies are also used to level up the Potential Level of an Umamusume. Potential Levels allow you to unlock more innate skills for that Umamusume to use in their career. Leveling up Potential Level becomes more expensive the higher the level is.
If there is an Umamusume with a pretty desirable skill, such as Oguri Cap (Starlight Beat) having Gourmand at Potential Lvl. 2, it's best to save up Monies for unlocking those Potential Levels!

Monies are spent whenever you start a careeer with a borrowed Guest Umamusume. The higher the grade of the Guest Umamusume you are borrowing, the higher the price.
Guests borrowed from Club members will have a discounted price, so try looking first for desirable legacies within your club before looking at other places such as the Team Trials Leaderboard or the Friend ID Sharing Board.
