How to Restore MP |
---|
|
You can restore MP by using MP recovery items, which you can find by exploring dungeons or purchase from merchants. Keep in mind that these items are rare, so make sure to save them for later, especially before boss fights.
MP Recovery Item | Description |
---|---|
Magla Potion | MP Recovery: A liquid potion that replenishes magic power. Restores 50 MP to one ally. |
Magla Pill | MP Recovery: This pill can be taken to replenish one's magic power. Restores 20 MP to one ally. |
Fruit Cordial | MP Recovery: A mildly sweet beverage made of water-diluted fruit juice. Restores 30 MP to one ally. |
These are all the MP recovery items in the game. Most of these can be found in blue glowing spots in dungeons, while some can be purchased, such as the Magla Pill in Komero.
If you're looking for a good way to farm Magla Pills, head to the Giant Sandworm's Nest and battle all the Papyros you encounter. Papyros can drop Magla Pills when defeated, and you'll find plenty of them in the Giant Sandworm's Nest.
Additionally, you can reclass to the Merchant Archetype to boost the odds of enemy drops. With Lucky Find, you'll have more chances of getting Magla Pills as you go!
The Mage Archetype has the Magic Recovery Skill. This allows the player to restore some MP when enemies are stunned or defeated in overworld combat. This is the most effective way to maintain MP inside a dungeon as these allows you to farm weaker enemies to fully recover your MP.
The Mage Archetype is unlocked when you form a bond with Gallica.
How to Unlock Mage Archetype and Skills
The easiest but most inefficient way to recover MP is to leave the dungeon and end the day. While this does recover your MP fully, it is not very effective if your goal is to complete a dungeon in the shortest amount of time.
How to Increase Max MP |
---|
|
The simplest way to increase your Max MP is to level up. By leveling up, you not only gain a stat increase but also points to your MP!
You can also inherit the Magic Font passive skill to any of your active classes to maximize your MP by 15%. You can get this skill by simply leveling up the Mage Archetype!
Leveling up the Mage Archetype to 20 will also give you a small increase to your Max MP. By reaching this level, you'll gain an extra 20 MP permanently added to your stats!
You can also do laundries in the Gauntlet Runner to gain MP. It's not much of an increase, and it can take away from other important nighttime activities, but it's something to consider if you're trying to stack up your MP.
Gauntlet Runner and Things to Do
Metaphor: ReFantazio's gameplay really emphasizes on the players ability to manage their resources. The player will need to keep careful track of their MP if they want to have enough left to defeat Boss Enemies at the end of the Dungeon. Unlike other games, the Rest Area won't recover any health or MP.
