Watch Out For Gunshots
The Dragon will use his arm to signal his brother to shoot you. After the Spider's shot, he will also draw his gun to shoot you himself. Use this pattern to evade the gunshots of the Saito Brothers. Additionally, you can look out for the Red Glint Indicator as a warning as they prepare for their ranged attacks.
Parry His Slow First Strike
The Dragon's initial attack would be relatively slower than his follow-up quicker slices. Focus on parrying the slower first strike and then relatiate with your melee attacks.
If you miss the parry, simply block the quicker slices. Do not try to parry them. Wait for him to reset his stance and prepare another slow first strike to make your next parry attempt.
How to Parry Attacks
Disrupt His Channeling Animation
The Dragon will have channeling animations for him to signal his brother to fire or to charge his gliding attack. Use your quickfire like Oni Flame in this timing and disrupt his routine.
Use Dual Katanas Against His Yari
After a while, the Dragon will switch his weapons to the Yari. Capitalize on this oppurtunity to attack him with your Dual Katanas. This will help you build up stagger damage and break his defense.
Open His Defense With Unblockable Attacks
Invest your Spirits on executing unblockable techniques like Heavenly Slash or Takezo's Dual Slash. These will penetrate the Dragon regardless of his stagger meter and opens him vulnerable to further melee attacks.

Quest Starts In Matsumae Castle
As part of The Saito Brothers questline, you need to meet Jubei in the Matsumae Castle in executing the plan to bait the Spider in luring Saito and the Dragon.

Obtain The Dragon's Empire Kit
After defeating The Spider and finishing the entire Reckoning quest, you will receive the The Dragon's Empire Kit.
How to Get The Dragon's Empire
Obtain The Ashen Blood Mask
The Ashen Blood Mask will be obtainable as a gift from any Gift Altar. This will be a rewarded to you for pursuing and defeating the Dragon.

| Weapons |  Katana The trademark curved single-edged blade of the Japanese. The katana is an all-rounder melee weapon that can be used in general situations and is best used against sword-wielding enemies. Its moveset focuses on precise and fluid slashes.  Yari The Yari are traditional straight-headed spears that allow having longer reach during combat. They excel at dealing with sickle-wielding enemies. Its moveset focuses on swift sweeps, lethal stabs, and elevating yourself with the shaft.  Tanzutsu The Tanzutsu is a small firearm best used for situations you need to quickly deal a burst of damage without much trouble. However, you will need to reload after firing once!
