This is a walkthrough for the PS5 exclusive demo for Resident Evil Village, MAIDEN. Follow the guide below to find out how to escape from your imprisonment in Lady Dimitrescu's castle!

MAIDEN Demo Story Walkthrough
Dungeon
| 1 |  Grab the scrap of paper from the wall for hints on how to proceed. |

| 2 |  Press the R3 button to crouch and crawl under the bench through the whole into the next room. |
| 3 |  There will be an open cell with a dead body. Ignore this and go to the end of the hall. |
| 4 |  Interact with the box with a keyhole and back out to hear a noise. |
| 5 |  Return to the dead body to see that it has moved and there is now a pair of bolt cutters. Take them and leave the room. |
| 6 |  Go to the cell directly to the left and open it with the bolt cutters. Examine the bucket of blood to get the lockpick. |
| 7 | There is one more room you can enter with the bolt cutters but there isn’t anything in it. Go back to the locked box and use the lockpick. |
| 8 |  Pull the lever and go through the door. In the next room go around the table and open the cabinet to crawl through a hole. |
| 9 |  Examine the brick at the end of the following room to open a door leading to a staircase. Go up the staircase and a ladder into the castle. |
Castle
| 1 |  You can pick up a necklace that used to belong to you in the room upstairs, then leave. Head down the hallway and out another door to the foyer. |

| 2 |  Around the corner is a locked door with a face missing an eye. Go downstairs and through the doors on the opposite side of the room, following a trail of blood. |
| 3 |  Look inside a glass of wine on the table to get the Maroon Eye Ring, our key to opening the door upstairs. Examine the ring to remove the eye. |
| 4 |  Return to the door to unlock it with the Maroon Eye. Be careful of the woman walking up the stairs. |
| 5 |  Open a cabinet on the right side of the room to get the Courtyard Key. |
| 6 |  Go back downstairs and you will be attacked. Hurry to the room where you found the Maroon Eye Ring and use the Courtyard Key on the door to end the demo. |
