Samcas are flying creatures, similar in appearance to Moroaicas apart from their wings and seeming elongated tongues. They use these tongues to attack you if you get in too close.

How to Kill Samcas

Use Your Sniper Rifle

By the time you first encounter Samcas, you will have been able to pick up a Sniper Rifle - the F2 Rifle. As you exit out onto the rooftops, you can see these creatures flying over Castle Dimitrescu. Fire at them from a distance with the F2 Rifle so that you don't have to risk getting too close. Keep in mind that if they fall, you will not be able to collect their drops.

Shoot Them Down

You can use either your Shotgun or Pistol to bring these creatures down to the ground at close range. They might not die right away, in which case it's best to use your knife to swipe at them while they're down to conserve some ammo.

Take Your Time

Samcas are fairly easy to kill. However, attempting to run past one section where Samcas are in will cause their numbers to swell around you in the long run.

It's better to deal with one Samca at a time – bring them down squirming to the ground and finish them with your knife with a few swipes. It is easy to farm Lei this way.
