Lucky 7 Achievement Guide

This is a guide to completing the Lucky Number 7 Challenge in the game Resident Evil Village (Resident Evil 8). To know more tips on how to clear this challenge through buying and selling items to get the exact amount of Lei you need, read on!

What is the Lucky 7 Challenge?

The Lucky Number 7 Challenge, or Lucky 7 for short, is one of the Challenges in Resident Evil Village. The challenge is to have 777, 7,777, or 77,777 Lei in your possession at a single point in the story.

How to Get Lucky Number 7 Trophy

If it's your first playthrough of the game, completing the Lucky Number 7 challenge will prove to be difficult since it's hard to manipulate the prices of the items you can buy or sell from The Duke. Fortunately, if you've successfully unlocked Infinite Ammo for certain guns, this makes things easier to achieve.

Save your Game

Before attempting to get the Lucky Number 7 Trophy, we highly recommend you make a manual save. This way, you can repeat the process as many times as it takes if you made a miscalculation. This also acts as a safety net, so you don't have to part with your Lei, weapons, or items.

Clear Your Purse

The first objective you want to accomplish is completely using up all your Lei. You can achieve this in different ways; buying First Aid Med from The Duke since its prices go higher with each purchase, or buying guns and upgrading them completely also flushes out Lei.

Clear Your Inventory

If you decide to buy items instead of weapons, clear your Inventory if it gets full. Before talking to The Duke, discard sellable items in your Inventory. Doing this ensures that you are not adding more Lei to your purse. The Duke buys any item you discard while doing a transaction.

Items to Sell

If you successfully managed to clean out your purse, take note of these particular items. These three are your best options at getting the Lucky Number 7 trophy.

By far the easiest number to achieve. Once you clean out your purse, sell 1 Magnum Ammo and 11 Rifle Bullets to achieve this.

7,777

Sniper Rifle Ammo is a lot easier to farm and craft than Magnum Ammo or Rifle Ammo. At 200 Lei per bullet, selling 35 Sniper Rifle bullets gets you 7000 Lei. Selling 1 Magnum Ammo and 11 Rifle Ammo will get you 7,777 Lei, the Make It Rain! trophy and 14000 CP.

77,777

If you want to go with 77,777 Lei, we don't recommend cleaning out your purse. Saving 50,000 - 70, 000 Lei in your purse is a good place to start. From there, just select the items that will get you to 70,000 Lei and use the same method mention above.

Reload Your Previous Save

After getting the Lucky Number 7 trophy, quit your game and reload the manual save you made before attempting the challenge. All your items and Lei will be back in your possession, but you get to keep the CP you earned for completing the challenge.
