The Statue Puzzle is in the Hall of Ablution on the second floor of Castle Dimitrescu. You're in the Hall of Ablution. A pool of blood and four statues are the only things in the room. Maybe draining that pool of blood is your only way out.
Castle Part 2 Walkthrough and Maps
Before attempting to solve the Statue Puzzle, go to the other side of the room. The gold plate on the other side of the room reads:
| "Women are blind to male advances, but the poor shall take their chances to give their lord their bounty sown, so that soon the wine may flow." |

The key is understanding the lines relative to the position of the statues in the Hall of Ablution.
| " Women are blind to male advances... " | Both female statues must not face any of the male statues. A male statue must face a female statue. |
|---|---|
| " ... but the poor shall take their chances to give their lord their bounty sown..." | The Poor Men Statue holding offerings of bread must face the Lord Statue. |
| " ... so that soon the wine may flow." | The Winebearer Statue must face the Lady Statue holding a chalice. |
In short, you must rotate all statues once, except the Lord Statue.
After the cutscene, the pool of blood will drain and unlock a new passageway to the basement of Castle Dimitrescu!
