The Statue Puzzle is in the Hall of Ablution on the second floor of Castle Dimitrescu. You're in the Hall of Ablution. A pool of blood and four statues are the only things in the room. Maybe draining that pool of blood is your only way out.

Before attempting to solve the Statue Puzzle, go to the other side of the room. The gold plate on the other side of the room reads:

"Women are blind to male advances, but the poor shall take their chances to give their lord their bounty sown, so that soon the wine may flow."

Puzzle Solution

The key is understanding the lines relative to the position of the statues in the Hall of Ablution.

" Women are blind to male advances... " Both female statues must not face any of the male statues.
A male statue must face a female statue.
" ... but the poor shall take their chances to give their lord their bounty sown..." The Poor Men Statue holding offerings of bread must face the Lord Statue.
" ... so that soon the wine may flow." The Winebearer Statue must face the Lady Statue holding a chalice.

In short, you must rotate all statues once, except the Lord Statue.

After the cutscene, the pool of blood will drain and unlock a new passageway to the basement of Castle Dimitrescu!
