You can find the Giant while searching for the Cannibal's Plunder. He serves as a guardian you must get by to collect the Cannibal's Plunder Treasure.
How to Access the Cannibal's Plunder Treasure
This Giant's behaviors doesn't differ much from the Beneviento Treasure Giant. It will still lumber towards you for a hit, and can still jump up from where it is to land on top of you. The ability to call for other monsters to aid it against you makes a return, although instead of Moroaicas, Samcas instead come after you.
Similar to the Beneviento Giant, you must avoid sticking too close to this Giant as it hits incredibly hard, taking down tons of health per hit. Use the many obstacles in the area to serve as a barrier between the two of you.
Although Mines are the preferred form of explosives here, Pipe Bombs can perform just as well. Plant bombs along narrow walkways or around corners, and have the Giant follow you through them for it to trigger the bombs.
In the case of using Pipe Bombs, simply throw it behind you around corners when the Giant follows.
Around the area, there are red-colored barrels that you can shoot to cause an explosion if you're low on bombs. Similar to using Mines and Pipe Bombs, have the giant follow you near a red barrel and simply shoot it. Use a pistol to shoot it from a far distance and preserve your more powerful ammunition.
Once you have dealt the Giant enough damage, it will call upon Samcas to aid it. You'll need to quickly eliminate these flying creatures. Unlike Moroaicas that lumber around slowly, you can't avoid them due to their high agility.

Mine | Pipe Bomb |
Explosives are the name of the game for this fight, as you'll need plenty to quickly take care of the Giant. Having Mines and Pipe Bombs in your inventory is preferable to having to use the precious ammunition for the GM 79.
Your shotgun comes in handy for dealing with the flying Samcas, as it typically can bring them down in one or two shots if you aim and land hits on them effectively.
