| 1 | After going through the red gates and talking with the Old Hag, enter the building to your left for some goodies. At this point, you can also go and collect the three Goats of Warding in this area. |
| 2 |  Exit the house and go up the hill until you reach a door with two empty slots, setting you off on your next objective. |
| 3 |  From the locked door, turn to your right and enter the church to find the Maiden Crest. There is also a Typewriter there that you can use to save your game. |
| 4 | Leave the church towards the field and turn left where you'll find a shack containing Gunpowder and Handgun ammo. There's another building next to it containing Rusted Scrap and Shotgun Ammo. Continue through the fields with the scarecrow before reaching orange and blue gates. |
| 5 |  With the gates locked, enter the building to your right. After the cutscene with Elena, go out the window to find a way into Luiza's house. |
| 6 | Break the box by the well to get Handgun Ammo. Pick up the Gunpowder on the crate next to the wall, then climb over. |
| 7 | After climbing over, turn to the right to open the outhouse to collect Chem Fluid. Afterwards, head over to the gate and unlock it, then head inside the house. Go through the cutscenes until you and Elena enter the garage. |
| 8 |  Follow Elena into the back room, then open the drawer in the kitchen to get the Truck Key. Examine the back of it to get the Screwdriver as well. You can also find 500 Lei in another cabinet near where you find the truck key and also Shotgun Ammo in the same room. Exiting the room, you can find a Herb in the plant on the right side of the fireplace. |
| 9 | Return to the truck and start the engine to ram it into the wall. Go up the stairs to the attic. |
| 10 |  Climb out the open window and drop back down to the front gate. Use the Screwdriver on the cage to get the Demon Crest. |
| 11 | Open the gate and head back to the door to insert the Crests into their respective slots, rotating them so they match. |
| 12 | Follow the path across the bridge and up into the cave to close out this part, leaving the Village behind for now. |
Inspect the Keys to Get the Screwdriver
When you pick up the Truck Key or from the Examine menu, open up the pouch to get the Screwdriver. You will need this to get the Demon Crest later on.

Village Part 1 Goats of Warding

You will find the first Goat of Warding in the small shrine as you enter the Village. Use your knife. Conserve your ammo for enemies and Goats of Warding in hard-to-reach places.

The second Goat of Warding is on top of the roof of the Church. It's very far away and easily missable if you move too fast. Use your handgun to break the Goat of Warding from a distance.

The third Goat of Warding is behind the third shed to your left as you go up to Luiza's house. Make sure you deal with the Lycans first before breaking this Goat of Warding.
