Village Part 1 Walkthrough and Maps

Here is the complete walkthrough for the Village, an area located in Resident Evil Village. Game8 has you covered for everything you need to know about the Village, including a guide on how to survive, weapon and item locations, treasure locations, enemies found in the area, and more!

Village Part 1 Walkthrough

	Objectives
1	When you regain control, follow the Old Hag through the gate that's now open then enter the building to your left for some goodies.
2	Go up the hill until you reach a door with two empty slots, setting you off on your next objective.
3	Turn to your right and enter the church to find the Maiden Crest. There is also a Typewriter here you can use to save your game.
4	Leave the church and enter the field with the scarecrow, taking out or running away from the Lycans that attack you.
5	With the gates locked, enter the building to your right, then go out the window to find a way into Luiza's house.
6	Break the box by the well to get Handgun Ammo. Pick up the Gunpowder on the crate next to the wall, then climb over.
7	Head over to the gate and unlock it, then head inside the house.
8	Follow Luiza into the back room, then open the drawer in the kitchen to get the Truck Key. Examine the back of it to get the Screwdriver as well.
9	Return to the truck and start the engine to ram it into the wall. Go up the stairs to the attic.
10	Climb out the open window and drop back down to the front gate. Use the Screwdriver on the cage to get the Demon Crest.
11	Open the gate and head back to the door to insert the Crests into their respective slots, rotating them so they match.
12	Follow the path across the bridge and up into the cave to close out this part, leaving the Village behind for now.

Inspect the Keys to Get the Screwdriver

When you pick up the Truck Key or from the Examine menu, open up the pouch to get the Screwdriver. You will need this to get the Demon Crest later on.

Village Part 1 Goats of Warding

Goat 1

You will find the first Goat of Warding in the small shrine as you enter the Village. Use your knife. Conserve your ammo for enemies and Goats of Warding in hard-to-reach places.

Goat 2

The second Goat of Warding is on top of the roof of the Church. It's very far away and easily missable if you move too fast. Use your handgun to break the Goat of Warding from a distance.

Goat 3

The third Goat of Warding is behind the third shed to your left as you go up to Luiza's house. Make sure you deal with the Lycans first before breaking this Goat of Warding.

This note contains a short ominous poem about the Lycans. This file can be found at the first house on the left when you enter The Village.

The Village believes that the Goat Idols are what bring protection to them. This file is in the same shrine that houses the first Goat of Warding.

Dangerous Creatures

A letter addressed to Luiza stating the situation of one of the villagers. This file is inside Luiza's house and cannot be accessed a second time.

The second Outhouse is on Luiza's property. Just after you climb over the fence into Luiza's yard, you'll find the Outhouse near the wall.
