How to Solve the Doll Puzzle

The Doll Puzzle can be found in the Doll Workshop in the basement of House Beneviento after taking the Leg Flask from Angie, the doll. This puzzle is the first in a series of puzzles Ethan has to solve to get out of the basement.

Examine the Doll

Start by examining every limb of the doll's body to gain new Key Items for future puzzles.

Doll Workshop Lock Code

Open the Locked Room

Using the Silver Key, open the locked Medicine Room and head over to the sink to clean the Blood Covered Ring, turning it into a new Key Item, the Wedding Ring. Examine the Wedding Ring to get the date " 05.29.11" and use those numbers to open the main door.

Music Box Puzzle Solution

Go out the Hall

Go back through the hall. A door will open by itself. Inside you will find a music box, the second part of this puzzle. You will need the Winding Key for this puzzle. To solve it, you will need to align the scratches of the cylinders. Solving this puzzle will reward you with a Key Item, a pair of Tweezers. Now go back to the Doll Workshop and examine the Doll's mouth.
How to Solve the Music Box Puzzle

Film Puzzle Solution

Go to the Study

After getting the Film from the Doll's mouth, head to the Study. Inside you will find a projector, strips of film, and a note on the table. The notes will give you hints of the order the film strips should be in. Solve the puzzle to open a new passageway and obtain another Key Item, a pair of Scissors. Go back to the Doll Workshop and examine the Doll's chest.

How to Solve the Film Puzzle

Door Puzzle Solution

Go to the Well

Examine the Doll's Left Eye to get the image of a crow in flight facing to the right of Ethan; examine the Doll's Right Arm to get the image of three closed eyes. Now that you have both images and the Brass Medallion, head to the door to with the depression to get to the well. Go inside the well and retrieve the Breaker Box Key.
