Buying from Duke

The fastest way to get ammo is to buy them from Duke. Most ammo is cheap, so getting them from Duke is easy. You can get Lei by selling items from Duke, killing monsters, or smashing breakable items. Check out the guide below for details on how to earn Lei in the game!

Break Glasses, Vases, or Wooden Boxes

Look for breakable items in the area and use your knife to destroy them to get some ammo. However, it's not a 100% chance that you can get ammo out of them. You might also get Lei or Crafting Materials from breaking them.

Only Ammo Types for your Current Weapons will Spawn

Ammo drops are based on the current weapons in your inventory. If you wish to only get shotgun ammo from drops, sell off all your weapons besides the shotgun. All ammo drops will now be shotgun ammo! Of course, if you wish to use other weapons, you'll have to buy them back from the Duke at a much higher price.

Crafting

Find materials for the specific ammo you're looking for to craft them. You can already make Handgun Ammo by default. Other ammo, however, needs a crafting recipe before you can create them. You can get ammo recipes from Duke.

Search around the area

Roam around the area first before going to the next one, for you might encounter ammo lying somewhere on the ground. Ammo usually appears before and after boss fights or fighting hordes of monsters.

Dropped from Monsters

Sometimes killing monsters will also drop ammo. However, monsters also have a chance to drop Lei or crafting materials, making this farming method somewhat ineffective.
