How to Unlock Joint Investigation - Joyful Blaze
Clear Breaking Thunder Quest
Joint Investigation - Joyful Blaze can be unlocked after completing the previous commission in the event, Breaking Thunder. The commission will appear on the Schedule screen once its prerequisites are met.

Joyful Blaze is the second quest within the Joint Investigation - The Divine Maze event. During the event, Proxies must assist the team in exploring the Papago Hollow.

Talk to Yanagi about the Next Phase Objectives
Go back to the headquarters and speak to Yanagi to ask about the objective for the next phase after clearing the first event commission, Breaking Thunder.
Check on Lucy
Head outside to find out what Lucy is fussing about, she currently with Lighter and Zhao near the parking lot. Talk to Lucy, as she seems worried about Burnice after going inside the Hollow, while Zhao is interested in the investigation of Papago Hollow.
Talk to Nanson
After gathering information about the Papago Hollow, report back to Nanson and advise the Agents to return to headquarters.
Joyful Blaze - Solo Investigation
It appears that Soldier 11 was the only one deployed in the Hollow, so the Proxy must assist her in getting out as soon as possible!

| 1 | Find a way out of the Hollow for Soldier 11, but watch out for the falling meteorites as they continuously fall on the ground. |
| 2 | Defeat the enemies that are blocking the path to progress. You must dodge the meteorites to trigger the Blaze effect, which also boosts Soldier 11's attacks. |
| 3 | Continue to follow the quest marker leading to the next area and defeat the Ethereal Hati to gain access to the control panel. |
| 4 | After defeating the enemy, head towards the security panel and use Polarity Calibration to open up the locked gate so that Soldier 11 can exit the Hollow. |
Talk to Zhao about Papago Hollow
Once you’re back at headquarters, go outside and update Zhao on the situation in Papago Hollow.
Report Back to Yanagi
Zhao reveals that the surroundings of Papago Hollow are all VR illusions, so head back inside to inform Yanagi about this to determine the next steps for the mission.
Joyful Blaze - Joint Investigation Standard
Once you have equipped your Agent’s Gear and Resonia, it’s time to return to the Hollow and participate in the Joint Investigation - Standard to investigate the area for clues.
Proxies can join this mode through matchmaking or by inviting friends to complete missions together! The Proxies will team up using their chosen Agents to investigate the Hollow while defeating enemies to progress through the area.
Joyful Blaze Standard Walkthrough

| Time Trial Challenge |  The more enemies you defeat within the time limit, the higher your score! |
| Alarm Busting |  Disarm the alarm mechanism to unlock the path and use Polarity Calibration to open up the locked gate! |
| Burning Blaze Domain |  Use Perfect Dodge, Special Attack, or Dash Attack to trigger Blaze. |
| Elite Battle |  Defeat all enemies! Bonus Objective: Perform 3 Chain Takedown(s). |
| Final Clash |  Defeat the powerful final enemy! |
Talk to Lighter
After the Joint Investigation, a dialogue cutscene will begin in which Lighter discovers Burnice passed out near the Hollow exit. He expresses his gratitude for your assistance, and the members of the Sons of Calydon will then return to Blazewood.
Review the Papago Hollow with Yanagi
Have a discussion with Yanagi about Papago Hollow and ask about the next steps, but it's time for the team to rest. In the meantime, Proxies can explore the other stage modes while waiting for the next mission.
Joyful Blaze - Joint Investigation High Risk
Proxies will unlock the High Risk mode, which requires them to team up with another Proxy to confront a powerful enemy encountered from the last area of the Standard mode, and will instantly start at the Final Clash.
How to Beat Specialized Assault Bomber
In the Joyful Blaze area, falling meteorites can trigger the Blaze effect whenever an Agent performs a Perfect Dodge, Special Attack, or Dash Attack. Pay attention to your timing during these actions, as you can destroy the boulders to stun the Specialized Assault Bomber.
Once the Specialized Assault Bomber is stunned, unleash your all-out attacks and Ultimates to deal significant damage. You can also activate the Chain Meter and collaborate with your teammates to perform a Chain Overdrive!
