As they say, money makes the world go round. The key to ensuring that you have the best, strongest, and most numerous Bangboo out on the field is by being able to afford them.
The Tycoon Lineup consists of Bangboo and buffs that are optimized to give you as many coins as possible, enabling you to level up your field faster, afford more refreshes, and still have enough to afford rare Bangboo.
The Tycoon Lineup is most effective when partnered with Agents that also help you manage funds, such as Rina, Hugo, Alice, and Miyabi's Turn 4 buff chip. Its effectiveness also becomes most apparent during the mid to late stages of the game.

The Energy Ring Lineup is a bit of a risky play, as your team will get stronger with each of your Bangboo defeated. To ensure that whoever is left will be able to take full advantage of this, it would be wise to pair it up with characters that provide significant DMG buffs, such as Yixuan or Orphie & Magus.
It would also be wise to put your strongest units in the back and let your weakest ones take the fall for the team. That way, your opponent's units have been softened up, and by the time they reach the back, they'll be ripe for reaping.

Popcorn Lineup Bangboo deal True DMG in a large AoE every time their Bond Effect triggers via their basic attacks. This one can be powerful, provided that you're lucky enough to get the chips that increase their Bond Level.
As a result, it would be best to partner this lineup with characters that increase Bonds like Yixuan. Get the Popcorn Bond Level to Level 4 or 5 to guarantee True DMG to your opponents!

As its name suggests, the Tough Bangboo Lineup consists of Bangboo that can take as much punishment as possible without sacrificing much in the way of DMG, thanks to their DMG output scaling off of their HP.
Hence, it would be wise to pair this lineup with Agents that increase HP, and with chips that do the exact same thing.

Get Good C-Rank and B-Rank Bangboo at the Early Game
It would be wise to seek out the C-Rank and B-Rank Bangboo listed above as soon as the game starts. They will be more than capable of carrying you until mid-game, where leveling up is finally necessary.

How to Play En-Nah Chess Saga Competitive Mode
Choose Your Recommended Lineup
Before entering Competitive mode matchmaking, you must first choose your preferred lineup. Since each team has unique capabilities and specialties, it would be wise to read their Strategy Details and ascertain which teams match your preferred playstyle the best.
Remember that you can change your preferred lineup at any point in the game. Do this in accordance with the Agent you got at the start of the game. That way, both the Agent and the team you selected will synergize well with each other, resulting in a higher chance at victory!
Select an Agent at the Start of the Game
At the beginning of every battle in Competitive mode, you will need to select an Agent that will give you buffs and enhance your Bangboo's stats and bond bonuses.
Keep in mind that the Agents you will get in each match are randomized, so you will need to pick the one that is well-suited for your chosen Bangboo Team. From there, you can change your preferred lineup to match the Agent you selected!
Select Chips and Bangboos with the Thumbs Up Icon
When picking out Chips or Bangboos in the shop during a match, choose the ones with a thumbs up icon beside their image. The thumbs up icon shows the most well-recommended items for your chosen team.
You could also opt to choose not to select the recommended items and experiment on your own in trying a different playstyle or strategy.
Play with Other Proxies
Each match of Competitive Mode consists of six players. Either match with Proxies randomly, or invite your friends for a friendly competition!

Energy star is usually not worth it because bangboo tend to die in chain reactions and you don't get the benefits. I highly recommend Double Yolk over it, it takes some time to snowball but once you have bond 3 you can get a lot of damage out of utility bangboo like avacado and butler because they throw a knife every time they use their ability. At bond 5 it's downright OP combined with the life steal and it has a good line up too. Try to level magnetboo asap and put him in the front.
