- Place Kind Bangboo (Exploreboo) first at the bottom left.
- Ahriman will spawn and place Rapid Bangboo (Snap) at the bottom row, then place Brave Bangboo (Mercury) at the bush below.
- Acquire Rapid Bangboo (Plugboo) and place it at the top row, then put another Mercury below.
- Place Kind Bangboo (Avocaboo) in the middle row and upgrade it right after.
- Keep an eye on the enemy's path, prepare to place Mercury at the top row bush.
- Another thing to note is that you can remove the Exploreboo to have more Mercury at the top row.
The strategy is quite similar to the fourth stage, where you must keep all the top row units alive to prevent the enemies from advancing near the exit and to always keep at least 2 Mercury bangboo units at the top bush row.

- Place Kind Bangboo (Exploreboo) first at the bottom.
- Put a Brave Bangboo (Mercury) at the upper left, followed by another Mercury at the other side.
- A new enemy wave will spawn below, so put a Rapid Bangboo (Snap) beside the Exploreboo at the bottom.
- Place another Rapid Bangboo (Plugboo) at the top side, which is the opposite side of Snap.
- Once you have enough cost, get an Avocaboo for the left side to heal the Attack units, as the enemies will spawn more on that side.
- Add another Snap at the center to deal damage before it reaches the Brave units.
You must upgrade the Rapid Bangboo units like Snap and Plugboo to unlock their advanced skill, making their damage deal more effectively. Follow it up with the Avocaboo to buff all the nearby Attack units to swiftly clear this stage.

- Place Kind Bangboo (Exploreboo) first at the bottom left.
- After you have enough cost, place Brave Bangboo (Mercury) at the top row front bush.
- Get Avocaboo and place it in the middle to heal the Brave Bangboo at the top row.
- Place Plugboo at the very top row, as more enemies are going to the top.
- As Ahriman spawns, place another Brave Bangboo (Mercury) at the bottom bush and follow it with a Rapid Bangboo (Snap) on top of the same bush row.
- Add another Mercury on the top row, and immediately replace it at the same row bushes if it disappears.
- As an alternative, you can also remove the Exploreboo to have more Mercury at the top row.
Keep an eye on the top row units, and make sure there’s always a Mercury bangboo deployed in the bush to stop enemies from advancing toward the exit.
In the early stage, prioritize upgrading Avocaboo to keep your Attack units alive much longer and extend their effectiveness in combat.

- Place Brave Bangboo (Mercury) inside the bush at the right.
- Put another Brave Bangboo (Mercury) on the left side .
- To have an Attack unit, put Rapid Bangboo (Snap) at the bottom elevated position and put another one beside it.
- Place Exploreboo at the very top row to gain costs to get another Attack unit.
- Once you have enough costs, upgrade Snap units or add another Rapid Bangboo on the other side.
After unlocking an additional number of deployable Bangboo in the field. You can also make use of the Bangboo Promotion upgrade to your Bangboo units to unlock their Advanced Skills and make them more effective at taking down Ethereals.

- Place Brave Bangboo (Mercury) inside the bush at the bottom row.
- Then place Rapid Bangboo (Snap) at the center position to deal damage to the upcoming enemy wave.
- Put another Brave Bangboo (Mercury) on the first bush at the center.
- Add another Rapid Bangboo (Plugboo) at the top row to prevent enemies from advancing straight to the exit.
- Once you have enough costs, add more Snap or Plugboo to the empty slots.
The field now contains Illusory Bushes where Ethereals may hide. You must deploy Mercury inside the bushes to reveal the hidden enemies.
