How to Unlock Old Friends, New Pals
Increase Suibian Temple Restoration Lv. to 10
To unlock Old Friends, New Pals, Proxies must raise the Suibian Temple Restoration Lv. to Level 10. There are four requirements to reach this:
- Craft 2 Luminous Spear
- Start 1 adventure in Production Area 2-1
- Complete 4 Neighborhood Wishes orders from Yum Cha Shin
- Complete Suibian Temple Restoration Mission: Old Soil, New Sprout

Old Friends, New Pals Guide
- Talk to Ju Fufu
- Head to “Yum Cha Sin” to talk with Sweety
- Talk to Vince, the owner of Devon Pawnshop
- Talk to Yixuan
- Increase Suibian Temple Restoration Lv. to 15
Talk to Ju Fufu
After reaching Restoration Lv. 10, talk to Ju Fufu inside the courtyard of Suibian Temple. She mentions having contacted Belobog Industries to help with the renovation, including Anton.
Talk to her again afterwards, and she'll mention Sweety from “Yum Cha Sin” delievered dim sum to the temple.
Head to “Yum Cha Sin” to talk with Sweety
Head on over to “Yum Cha Sin” to meet with Sweety as thanks for the dim sum she delivered. She also mentions commissions have also gone up alongside the shop's business, and will let you know about two new commissions available if the player wants to tackle them immediately:
- Mysterious Machine
- Me and Qian
She will also give you an Omnicoin not knowing about it, and sugggests you head on over to Devon Pawnshop to have it checked out.
Talk to Vince, the owner of Devon Pawnshop
Vince is outside Devon Pawnshop; talk to him and give him the Omnicoin. This catches his attention, and is willing to trade his wares for more Omnicoin.
This unlocks the Devon Pawnshop, where you can trade the Omnicoins you have collected for rewards, including Prepaid Power Cards, Investigator Logs, Plating Agents and even Polychromes!
Talk to Yixuan
Head back to Suibian Temple to talk to Ju Fufu, where she learns about an all Suibian Temple tradition called Tidefaire. Afterwards, talk to Yixuan to learn all about it.
Increase Suibian Temple Restoration Lv. to 15
To finish the quest, players must then continue to raise the Restoration Lv. to Level 15. It will automatically continue to the next quest once reaching the level!
Old Friends, New Pals Rewards
Devon Pawnshop unlocked
Progressing through this Side Quest permanently unlocks the Devon Pawnshop in Failume Heights. Proxies can trade in the omnicoins they obtained into rewards!
