How to Unlock Attack from the Shadows
Complete Leisurely Lull - Wandering Visitor Quest
Attack from the Shadows will be unlocked after completing the Leisurely Lull - Wandering Visitor Main Story, which also effectively unlocks the entire Chapter 1, Season 2 of the game's Main Quest.

Talk To Your Sibling
Following the events from Season 1, talk to your sibling about how Yixuan Shifu can teach you how to control your Etheric powers, as well as your boarding at Yunkui Summit that's sponsored by the mayor.
Chat with Yixuan Shifu
On the next day, chat with Yixuan Shifu who's already invited herself inside the video store. Progressing thru this special event unlocks the Yunkui Faction uniform, which you have to equip to continue the story. Once done, head out with Yixuan en route to Waifei Peninsula.
Make Your Way Out of the Hollow
Once the cutscene has ended, find Yixuan Shify and make your way out of the Hollow. Simply press on until you spot the Miasma Tumor blocking your way, as well as the mob that you'll have to defeat using a trial version of Yixuan.
Arrive at Waifei Peninsula with Yixuan
After defeating the enemies, go straight ahead until you see the exit extracted from the carrot data. Exiting thru this portal transports you to the Carefree Aparments area of the Lemnian Hollow. There's a nearby Exalting Hymnist and corrupted miasma that afflicts corruption to your team, but we recommend ignoring these for now.
Keep in mind you need not do anything here, as you only have to use the Map function to teleport straight to Failume Heights! Simply teleport to Seagaze Road and meet up with Ju Fufu to complete the quest.
