Succeeding quests to Restful Break can also be unlocked by completing Cutting Through Wrong Paths and Into the End.

In this quest, Proxies will be commissioned by Yanagi to check out potentially corrupted autonomous mechs within Melinoe.

Restful Break Quest Walkthrough

Find the Public Security Bangboo
| Step | Objective |
|---|---|
| 1 | Upon arriving at Cocytus Outpost, speak to Yanagi to learn about the issue with autonomous mechs within Melinoe. |
| 2 | Once inside the Hollow, follow the path until you reach an Ether Beam Disruptor. Break the crates to remove the path, and then aim the beam at the receiver by the ramp. |
| 3 | Go down the ramp and grab the Lost Supply Box beside it. Then, go talk to the Supervisor Bangboo at the platform on the other side. |
| 4 | Defeat the Mechs that will spawn and report back to Supervisor Bangboo. |
Find the Password
| Step | Objective |
|---|---|
| 1 | Supervisor Bangboo will inform you of a lost password. Head down the ramp and turn left. Break all the destructibles in the area, and then find one part of the password in one corner. |
| 2 | On the other side of the arena is a Lost Passcode that you can take back to Supervisor Bangboo for verification. |
| 3 | After collecting the passcodes, interact with the Ether Beam Disruptor and aim the beam at the second disruptor at the center of the area. |
| 4 | Interact with the second Ether Beam Disruptor and aim the beam at the receiver on the other side of the area. |
| 5 | Go down the ramps, then turn right. Grab the Lost Supply Box beside the ramp, and continue onward. Continue onwards and defeat the wave of Ethereals. |
| 6 | Proceed to the next area and break the destructibles straight ahead. Grab the lost passcode and the Irradiant Crystal a little further ahead. |
| 7 | Grab the Lost Supply Box in the enclosed area to the right of the entryway. |
| 8 | Exit the area, and you will be by the original entrance to Melinoe's Core. Break the destructibles and get the final lost passcode. |
Defeat the Malfunctioning Machines

| 1 | After the cutscene with Supervisor Bangboo, go up the ramps and defeat the wave of mechs that will spawn. |
| 2 | Recalibrate the Bangboo Data Station to proceed. |
Team Up with Yanagi to Defeat the Ethereals
| Step | Objective |
|---|---|
| 1 | After the cutscene, proceed to the next device and activate it. |
| 2 | Protect the device from the Ethereals until the gauge in the upper-right corner of the screen reaches 100%. A cutscene will ensue, and the commission will be complete afterward! |
