Trust Commissions increase a certain character's Trust when you complete them. Whenever you get an invite from one of your teammates, be sure to respond and help them with their cause!
Jane Trust Events and Best Answers
Jane's Movie List will be unlocked once you've reached the Friendly Trust Rank with Jane after doing the Late Night Caller. The Trust Commission will appear on the schedule the next morning.
Read the DM from Jane where she's asking about The Port Peak videotape. A follow-up message will occur afterwards, asking if you have the videotape that she requested.

You can get The Port Peak videotape after reaching Video Store Level 5.
The Video Store Level 5 can be unlocked by reaching Inter-Knot Level 35, clearing the Chapter 1 Story, and completing the Family Education quest.
How to Raise Your Inter-Knot Level
After answering Jane's second DM, wait for her to come to the Random Play video store. Once she arrives, talk to her to watch the videotape she requested.

The dialogue choices you make in Jane's Movie List won't matter as they will not increase trust.
After completing Jane's Movie List, Jane can now promote the video store!
