How to Unlock Measurement Device

Find Lost Items From the Old Capital in Hollow Zero

Like the previous hidden quests, the Measurement Device commission will become available after finding the five items associated with it. These items only start appearing after you get both Symbiosis and Blossoming Out of Ruins. You are also limited to only three items per day, so keep checking Hollow Zero for items.

Weird Girl Requirements

One of the items for Measurement Device requires you to repeatedly find the Weird Girl and take 30 Pressure. You must find her for a total of four times in different runs before she gives a lost item. She tends to appear more often in the harder Core stages.

How to Beat Measurement Device

1. Chat With Zero
2. Escort Zero to the Final Resting Place of His Colleagues
3. Say Goodbye to Zero

Chat With Zero

After unlocking the commission, chat with Zero right outside Scott Outpost. You'll receive a quest for the HDD from him.

Escort Zero to the Final Resting Place of His Colleagues

Go into the HDD and start the Measurement Device commission. Defeat all enemies you encounter and speak to Zero as needed.

Let Zero Deal the Final Blow

Near the end of the quest, you'll fight a Thanatos-Energized. It will run away after its HP has been lowered significantly. Follow it and speak to Zero to let him deal the final blow as attacking the Ethereal will do no more damage.

Say Goodbye to Zero

Upon clearing the HDD quest, return to Scott Outpost and look for Zero near the Logistics Shop. Speak to him to finish the commission.
