The legendary Proxy Phaethon is not just one person--it is run by both Belle and Wise as a joint effort. They are widely known for their unique guidance system, and almost always guarantees a successful commission.

Phaethon, and by proxy Belle and Wise, are not associated with any faction whatsoever. Instead, they lend out assistance to everyone that contacts them for a commission.

Belle and Wise are the sibling main protagonists, and the start of the game players will be presented with a choice to choose between the two to be the playable character.

Should You Choose Belle or Wise?

Both are Not Playable in Combat

Belle and Wise are not playable characters, as their role puts them in the sidelines as support. They help and cooperate with Agents to navigate through the Hollow through anonymous commissions

Instead, Agents Are Playable

All the combat sections of the game are done by the Agents, who traverse the Hollow whenever their services are needed.

Your Account Name is Their New Proxy Name

Belle and Wise are the account handlers behind the legendary Proxy Phaethon, who are renowned for their skills and successrate. Unfortunately, at some point of the story you lose access to that account and are forced to start from scratch.

This is where your account's name comes into play, becoming Belle and Wise's new identity as a Proxy.

Role of the Other Sibling

Supports the Chosen Character

While you control your chosen of the two siblings, the other will support them whenever they can. This is especially prominent during story beats, where they are often designated as Story Quest markers to continue progress.
