Go to Brant Street during Chapter 2 Intermission after completing A Memoir of Work Screw-Ups and talk to Dana to obtain this commission.

Hollow Deep Dive System Events and Guide

Shoot the Enemies with D-Rounds

Shoot the D Rounds

Use the cannon to shoot the D Rounds to the enemies guarding the Excavator. After the enemies are gone, a path to the left will be unlocked so you can examine the Excavator and go to the next area.

Repair the Excavator

Shoot the Enemies

In the second map, your goal is to collect Gear Coins to repair the Drill Rig to 100% using the engineering device between the red buttons. You can also use the engineering device to enhance turrets or install the reload module.

You can collect Gear Coins by shooting the incoming enemies with D Rounds. You can also collect two Observation Data on the left and the right of the map.

Use Engineering Device to Repair, Enhance or Reload

Repair or Upgrade

Use the Engineering Device to do the following:

  • Drill Rig Repair (1500 Gear Coins) - Repairs the Excavator by 30%
  • Reload Module (200 Gear Coins) - Automatically resets launch button every 20 steps
  • Enhance Turret (1500 Gear Coins) - Enhances Turret's ammo to DDD Rounds

Prioritize Reload Module and Enhancing Turrets

It is highly recommended to get the reload module first since it is cheaper and will automatically reset the launch button every 20 steps and to prioritize enhancing turrets as rounds will launch quicker when they get upgraded. If possible, enhance all the turrets to get an achievement.

Subdue the Rampaging Drill Rig

Unfortunately, after repairing the Drill Rig, it will be corrupted. Use the turrets to shoot it until it reaches 0 HP alongside the other enemies.

It is recommended that some of your turrets are enhanced for this part to have an easier time defeating the enemies.

Collect Observation Data 3 and Keep Hitting the Drill Rig

Observation Data 3

On the next map, get the Observation Data 3, and keep hitting the drill rig to reveal a pathway full of Denny. Go to the exit to finish the commission.
