Gardening is a new feature in Persona 3 Reload (P3R) that lets you grow certain consumable items while spending time with your companions! Read on for a full list of all Seeds, how to unlock gardening, and what gardening is for!

First, you must unlock the rooftop garden on 5/25 in-game. This will happen automatically as you progress the story. When you unlock it, you will also be given Healthy Tomato Sprouts to start off!
Story Walkthrough and All Chapters
In Episode: Aigis, Junpei will mention that Rafflesia, the flower shop normally found in Tatsumi Port, will move to Paulownia Mall and he will give you a flyer about it.
After finishing the Caina door, you will be able to access and talk to the Rafflesia shopkeeper by the Paulownia Mall fountain to buy and plant the seeds found while exploring.
Once you have access to the garden, you can start planting seeds to grow various vegetables. Depending on the vegetable, you can then harvest them after a certain number of days.
Episode: Aigis has shortened the waiting time for seed growing. After handing over seeds to the shopkeeper, you can retrieve your plants from the shopkeeper after you explore the Abyss of Time.

Besides buying them from the shop, you may come across chests that has seeds in them while you explore.

You can get the Eat Your Veggies, Peas! achievement when you harvest a crop that you grew with a companion.
All Trophies and Achievements and How to Unlock (P3R)
Gardening and planting seeds lets you grow consumable vegetables to help you explore Tartarus! The effects of these items can vary from healing HP, restoring SP, and more!
On 6/16, you will unlock the feature to tend the garden with your friends! Vegetables grown with your friends will grant it bonus effects depending on who you grew it with!
Players can also unlock Characteristics for their allies by doing dorm activities with them three times for the same activity, and this includes gardening!
All companions have two activities you can do with them, so make sure to spend some of your nights with them to make them stronger!
