They seem to randomly replace smaller gold or platinum teeth and can appear multiple times. The mirrors are common drops so cannot be stolen, but the odds of dropping can be increased by equipping Lucky Find
The Mirror of Atziluth is a common drop from the Argent-Crown Homo Tenta. While it's counterpart, Or-Crown Homo Tenta, drops the Mirror of Assiah. They can be found in the first area of the Tyrant's Star, surrounded by other, smaller teeth. However, I've also discovered that there is a pair of trace crystals in the second area that will occasionally spawn them along with the smaller teeth too! It's pretty easy to miss unless you're farming those crystals, which is how I found out.
can you farm them, or are they once per playthrough! i'm in ng+ on my way to the second town and curious!
Found this purely by accident - on the second level of the stage you access to start the endgame, there is a pair of maglia crystals that only spawn Homo Tenta (teeth guys) I was farming there to restore MP when suddenly an XL tooth opponent appeared. When fought there are two opponents, one drops this item and I believe the other drops the physical repel accessory
