・Talisman of Wisdom: Casting Time -15 ・Scroll: Secrets of Wisdom ・Devil's Earring: Status change effects +60 ・Scroll: Daemon Kit ・Twisted Scope: Spell range +20 ・Scroll: Designer Glasses |
This loadout shows the best possible equipment for Clavats considering all the additions in the Post-Game Dungeons. The Blaze Nova is even stronger than those added as paid DLC, and can be called the Clavats' true ultimate weapon. The Lune Celion also exists, but its Focus Attack is weaker than that of Blaze Nova, so it doesn't quite earn the top slot.
As for Accessories, there are no changes from the GameCube version. The Talisman of Wisdom is the best choice overall, as it allows Clavats to reach the same Casting Time as Yukes. This grants Clavats more flexibility as both Physical and Magic attackers.

・Talisman of Wisdom: Casting Time -15 ・Scroll: Secrets of Wisdom ・Devil's Earring: Status change effects +60 ・Scroll: Daemon Kit ・Twisted Scope: Spell range +20 ・Scroll: Designer Glasses |
This is the best gear for Clavats based on the GameCube version of the game. With the above accessories, Clavat players can reach Magic strength that rivals Yukes allowing them to be powerful magic attackers. Go ahead and craft these if you want to max out your character before taking on the much harder Post-Game Dungeons.
Weapon | Str | Scroll, etc | |
---|---|---|---|
Weapon | Mogcalibur or Apocalypse |
45 | DLC |
The DLC weapons for Clavats come with a whopping 45 strength, stronger than any obtainable weapon from the original game, although some weapons Post-Game Dungeons surpass it. For those who aren't worried about game balance and would like to breeze through the game to reach the difficult content, these weapons may be up your alley.

・Dragon's Heart: Focus Attack +3 ・Scroll: Soul of the Dragon |
Longinus used together with the Dragon Heart is still the strongest pair in the game due to the power of Bladestorm, its Focus Attack. Weapons with equivalent power exist in Post-Game Dungeons, but their Focus Attacks still cannot beat the best weapon from the original game.
A new pair of Gloves, Glorious Gloves, boost the range of Lilties' Focus Attacks. Although it takes a Defense hit, this will allow Lilties to attack enemies which cannot yet target them, providing much more safety overall.
Equipment | Str/Def | Scroll | |
---|---|---|---|
Weapon | Longinus | 40 | Celestial Weapon |
Armor | Diamond Plate | 27 | Diamond Armor |

This is the best gear for Lilties based on the GameCube version of the game. Go ahead and craft the Diamond Armlets without waiting for the Glorious Gloves if you want to max out your character before taking on the much harder Post-Game Dungeons.
Weapon | Str | Scroll, etc | |
---|---|---|---|
Weapon | Mogungnir or Catastrophy |
40 | DLC |
The DLC weapons focus attacks aren't quite as strong as the Longinus' so they won't exactly dethrone it, but with 40 strength and the ability to obtain it early on in the game they can be just as useful.

Shield | Glorious Helm | 18 | Glorious Helm |
Accessory | |||
・Wiseman Soul: Magic Power +15 ・Scroll: Book of Wisdom ・Charm of Wisdom: Casting Time -10 ・Scroll: Tome of Wisdom |
The Yukes' new ultimate weapons have Focus Effects which allow them to cast Firaga, Blizzaga or Thundaga instantly without using spell fusion. Of these, Frost Magia, which provides Blizzaga, and Evil Keraunos, which provides Thundaga, are the most useful with their potential to stop enemies' movements.
The new Accessory Wiseman Soul is also powerful, as it boosts Yukes' Magic Power by a whopping 15 percent. In the GameCube version, Clavats were able to reach an equivalent Magic Power to Yukes, but with the addition of this item, Yukes are able to use Magic far more effectively than any other class. That said, Wiseman Soul will not be obtainable until rather late, so the Charm of Wisdom which allows Casting Time reduction is best until that point.
Equipment | Str/Def | Scroll | |
---|---|---|---|
Weapon | Ultima Hammer | 35 | Greatest Weapon |
Armor | Saintly Mail | 30 | Holy Armor |
Helm | Diamond Helm | 25 | Diamond Sallet |
Accessories | |||
・Daemon's Earring: Status change effects +30 ・Scroll: Fiend Kit ・Twisted Spectacles: Spell range +20 ・Scroll: Eyewear Techniques ・Elemental's Soul: Spell damage +5 ・Scroll: Forbidden Tome |
This is the best gear for Yukes based on the GameCube version of the game. Go ahead and craft these if you want to max out your character before taking on the much harder Post-Game Dungeons.
As you can only use one Greatest Scroll per save game it's best to use it on a Yuke. Accessories that boost Yukes' magic power are also recommended.
Weapon | Str | Scroll, etc | |
---|---|---|---|
Weapon | Kupo Kupo Hammer or Executor |
45 | DLC |
The Yuke DLC weapons are exceptionally powerful, so if you have the money and are hoping to plow through the early game and head to the Post-Game quickly, they may be for you.

Weapon | Evergreen | 54 | Paradise Weapon |
Armor | Diamond Plate | 27 | Diamond Armor |
Belt | Winged Belt or Glorious Belt |
25 or 18 | Wind Belt or Glorious Belt |
Accessory | |||
・Thief's Emblem: Focus Attack charge time -15 ・Scroll: Brigandology |
The addition of the Evergreen changes the game for Selkies, allowing them to dish out far more attacking power than before. The Evergreen's Focus Attack allows them to cast Hastega without using Spell Fusion, making them more useful in multiplayer than solo play. Another ultimate weapon, Fairy Tale, exists as well, allowing the use of Clearaga instead of Hastega, turning Selkies into an essential support class.
Selkies can switch between the Winged Belt and the Glorious Belt depending on the Dungeon, as the Glorious Belt's Magic Range boost allows them to use Magic more easily as well. With the Hastega boost, they'll be able to use Magic more quickly than before, so against Flying and Undead-type Monsters, the Glorious Belt is essential in giving additional range to use these spells. In Dungeons where these Monsters are scarce, the additional Defense provided by the Winged Belt is preferred.
Equipment | Str/Def | Scroll | |

Weapon | Dreamcatcher | 35 | Lunar Weapon |
Armor | Diamond Plate | 27 | Diamond Armor |
Belt | Winged Belt | 25 | Wind Belt |

・Thief's Emblem: Focus Attack charge time -15 ・Scroll: Brigandology |
This is the best gear for Selkies based on the GameCube version of the game.
Weapon | Str | Scroll, etc | |
---|---|---|---|
Weapon | Kupo Kupo Racket or Punishment |
45 | DLC |
Both Selkie DLC weapons are incredibly strong. However, as they don't posess the much better focus attack, Meteor Blast, we recommend the Dreamcatcher instead for the main Dungeons. This all comes down to player preference, of course, and like the other DLC weapons can help you power through the main game.

Vanitas Helm | 20 | Resist Fire +2 |
Vanitas Mail | 25 | Resist Fire +2 |
Vanitas Shield | 20 | Resist Fire +2 |
The Vanitas Equipment provides the best resistance to Fire of any item, and is found in the Toadstool Forest Post-Game Dungeon.
As the Toadstool Forest is one of the earlier Post-Game Dungeons, it's a good idea to grind the Dungeon for the Materials required to make the Vanitas series, as Fire resistance will be key for taking on later Dungeons like Afternoon Fort.

Acies Shield | 23 | Resist Ice +2 |
The Acies Equipment provides the best resistance to Ice of any item, and is found in the Oblivion Village Post-Game Dungeon.
Oblivion Village is a bit more difficult than the previous two Dungeons so having some Ice-resistant Equipment in advance, like the Frost Mail, will help clear it. The Ice Resistance obtained here will be essential for later dungeons like Frozen Sluice.

The Dinner Party Dungeon Walkthrough
The Heresy Equipment provides the best resistance to Petrification of any item, and is found in the Afternoon Fort Post-Game Dungeon.
Resistance to Petrify will be essential for later dungeons like Miasma Pit, so get the Heresy Series in advance. You'll want to get the Vanitas Equipment first to make it through Afternoon Fort.

I'm a bit mad about the Yuke equipment. The defense on the helmet is lower than pre-hard mode, and Yukes don't need extra magic range. Did they typo 18 instead of 28 def? The focus attacks on the weapons aren't any good because YUKES SUCK AT FOCUS ATTACKS! The accessory is the only thing worthwhile.
