Events will occur as your caravan travels around collecting Myrrh. You'll learn more about other caravans and even get bonuses along the way! Learn the details of each Event and how to use the Memories you make.

When moving between two places on the World Map, a cutscene will sometimes suddenly begin. Although these typically have little effect on the story, they give a deeper insight into the world of the game and introduce a number of unique characters.
Sometimes they can also provide helpful services like selling Materials or giving information about Monsters.
Each Event the character encounters will add a Memory to their Memories counter. The total number of Memories can be confirmed on the Pause menu.
The following section contains mild spoilers, so open the accordion below to reveal.
The player's total number of Memories will have an effect in the final part of the game, so it's good to have made a few Memories going into it.
That said, the total number of Memories probably will not come into play, so there's no need to spend time farming Memories or making sure you collect all 999. Simply playing through the game and traveling to dungeons will provide you with as many Memories as you'll need.
Rather, remembering the actual events which occurred will turn out to be the most important, so be sure to actually watch the Event cutscenes and try not to zone out completely!
Each Event is grouped into a category based on the character who you met in the Event.
Some of the Event names are translated from the Japanese title. These Events are marked with a *. Updates will come as all English names are confirmed. We appreciate any input on the names of Events in the comments section!
