Having a +2 Ice resistance will make clearing this dungeon way easier. You can equip one of the Acies equipment or stack two frost equipment to gain that +2 ice resistance.

Oblivion Village Walkthrough

Bring Ice Resistance

For this dungeon you want to prepare gear that resists Ice. The Skeletons and Bombs in the dungeon will cast Blizzara on you. There are a lot of open areas so it's easy to get surrounded and stuck in place frozen.

Having +2 Ice resistance will completely negate the effects of freeze but you can make do with just +1 without issue.

Dungeon Gimmicks Same as Normal Mode

In Oblivion Village the spider webs present in Tida have all been cleared away. You no longer need Fire and can proceed through the dungeon while ignoring enemies.

See Glimpses of the Past

If you strike the orbs that now appear throughout the map, you'll be able to open new treasure chests that play a short scene. As you don't have much time to waste you should strike the orbs quickly and move on.

These treasure chests aren't necessary to proceed through the dungeon, however, and can be ignored.
